The crowd is shockingly small. Lucky to be a thousand there I'd say. Been to u21s matches at Old Trafford before and the entire stand was usually packed with 6-7K, not to mention some of the massive crowds for FAYC. Sadly these games are a complete afterthought now.Wish the club made more of an effort in marketing these games. The youth deserve bigger crowds.
Another classic UYL campaign from United then, mismatch of the U18s and U21s with very little fluidity. The coaching and team selection in this competition has never looked right.FT (aggregate)
United 0(1)-0(2) AZ
Another disappointing UYL campaign comes to and end.
4 days ago they won the u19 Dutch championship. Not bad for a team that is performing "poor".They were one of the best - but that generation is in the first team squad. Their results at youth level this season have been poor - but it's hard to know how if they picked a strong team in the league matches.
Plus 2 years ago they had the best under 18 team in Europe4 days ago they won the u19 Dutch championship. Not bad for a team that is performing "poor".

Well I was referring to their U18 side who finished last season with 2 points from the last 4 games - their U19s clearly are better - I stand corrected
Where's the best place to buy tickets for the u18s FAYC vs PNE, sure i saw a link somewhere on here?
Good news as we weren’t going to be able to watch it anyway. At least now there is a 1% chance the rescheduled match will be shown.
Is that the place to get tickets for all U18 matches?

Ahh, thats a shame.Nope. Only for the games at Leigh. The games at Carrington are currently played behind closed doors, apart from families etc.
With the U21's being at home, and the U18's playing yesterday, I was hoping there'd have been a chance this one was on MUTV.
Bad luck (for us, MUTV probably delighted at the excuse) that there's a televised PL game 12.30-14.30. But given that silly rule, you'd think the afternoon PL2 games would start at 14.30-15.00 - then they could be televised, couldn't they?
But, as I say, as MUTV have clearly decided the U21 coverage is the one going to be most cut back, then they're probably delighted at the clash.
Any news on the line ups?
