feck no. Not a United player. Thankfully. Ugghghhgh
Good at what he does tbf to him
Of course not. It's not as if he plays for a team in contention for the title, is it?

I rate De Jong but, no. It would be a completely pointless signing.
Louis van Gaal wants to make Dutch World Cup villain Nigel de Jong a Manchester United player, writes Steve Bates in the Sunday People..
Holland coach Van Gaal has told the Old Trafford giants' executive vice chairman Ed Woodward to pursue a £6million deal for the AC Milan midfield enforcer – even though de Jong was a fan favourite at bitter rivals Manchester City.
Now though van Gaal wants to being the midfield hardman back to Manchester to bolster a United midfield woefully short of bite and physical presence.
Van Gaal wants players he can trust to steady the ship at United while building the layers that will make them a force again.
And he has identified De Jong as a player who will not cost a fortune, would be attainable and will do a vital job while he puts his stamp on United.
Milan had a poor season, finishing eighth in Serie A, and it’s believed the cash-strapped fallen Italian giants would cash-in on de Jong who has another year to go on the three season deal he signed after joining from City.
Meanwhile, Van Gaal has told Nicky Butt to carry on at Old Trafford.
The incoming Manchester United boss has spoken with reserve team boss Butt after being given a positive run down on his work by Ryan Giggs, van Gaal’s new No.2.
Butt was one of Sir Alex Ferguson’s Famous Five from the 1992 youth team that produced David Beckham, Paul Scholes, and Gary and Phil Neville.
He sat with interim boss Giggs and Scholes in the dug-out for the last four games of the season after David Moyes was sacked.
People Sport understands Van Gaal wanted to reassure Butt his position at the club was safe ahead of several backroom changes.
But former United and Everton defender Phil Neville is still unsure of his future at Old Trafford.
Van Gaal will bring in pal Frans Hoek as goalkeeping coach, as well as opposition scouting expert Marcel Bout who worked with him at Bayern Munich.
I'd be gutted if we signed this thug. Thankfully, this is probably just the press doing their typical 'dutch' + 'footballer' = 'United target' routine.
Hugely underrated here apparently. One of the best ball winners in Europe in my opinion
He was immense against Australia. Must have intercepted, tackled and won the ball about 20 times that game. Made quite a few headed defensive clearances as well. Had one powerful shot on target and generally passed around well.He is a brilliant destroyer. Was Hollands best player against Australia.
No! He is worse than Khedira! The only Dutch players I want are Depay, Blind and Strootman (when he is fit again).
Selling Fellaini for £12-15m and buying NDJ for £6m would be good business. There's no valid reason not to go for him at £6m. He is a bit of a cnut but he is a good DM and in that sense is everything Fellaini isn't. When we signed Fellaini people were claiming he would add some presence to our midfield forgetting that he is a positionally inept target man. There's nothing whatsoever to moan about at £6m. It won't stop us going for our other midfield targets.
I do quite like him, but he's also a Bertie, and he still seems fond of the Berties. Would he even want to come here?
Completely agree, it's better to plug the holes that contributed in costing us last term, get top four next season and rebuild from a position of strength. If we try to force matters right now we will have a dozen of average players, all on 100k or more and having blown all our money on them. If we could sign De Jong and Strootman, in January, in addition to the required strengthening at leftback and central defence then we would have enough to secure third place, given what we have in forward places.Yes- I'd be happy with lower cost short term answers to plug gaps and improve squad whilst LVG gets to grips with the job. Big spend can be next year if needed.
Worst think we could do is buy average players for huge amounts (Fellaini) or spunk hundreds of millions on superstars before LVG even has a good opportunity to assess and improve what we've got.
