Judging him with the same standards people have judged Zaha this season, his cameo has been a "stinker" so far. Won a freekick, lost absolutely everything else

Been reflective of a lot of his perfomances from what I've seen. Very clumsy on the ball.

I seen him a few times this year(Europa League) and it's been hit and miss but it's clear the guy has great potential. Also I would disagree with him being clumsy on the ball from what I've seen he's more of his best attributes.

Can we post gifs here? I don't know. I'll delete them if not.

But no, he's shit, slow, overweight and he can't control a ball.

Yours was the shit post.

It's not that I think Powell is awful but it is ridiculous the money we spent on middle of the road punts (Young, Powell, Zaha, Bebe) in Fergie's later years given how we baulked at the fees for some top end talents.

He cost 4m. Why the feck is he being compared with Zaha, bebe and Young?

You're talking complete garbage.

Judged on this fat bastards display so far here in Extra Time vs Arsenal he'll never be good enough for United and will soon find himself floating around Wolves level.

Did you just use 3 random great goals to prove he's good? Christ, I could do the same and a lot more with Jay Jay Okocha.

I agree he's got good potential but it's not unfair to point out there's a lot of things he needs to improve on.

You can tell that some of the geniuses here have watched Powell for the first time in this match.

He's always looked a bit on the bigger side. He has a tubby face.

I knew it wasn't just me! He's a very talented guy but he's definitely sporting a little bit of a gut.

Just turned on the match and noticed that he's on the field, he definitely looks fat. This beard makes him look quite old as well.

He's a great little player but he has a very lackadaisical attitude at times. Dwells on the ball way too much.

He looks a bit like Andy from Parks and Rec..

Half of his goals are 'great goals', he scores them on a regular basis and has been Wigan's top goalscorer this year. Jay Jay Okocha was a great player, so no idea why you're using him as an example.

Okocha was a fantastic player.

Even if it wasn't there first time watching him, to be judging him purely on a substitute performance against a club side a league above is ridiculous. Powell will be a good player, I know it.

Are people taking the piss saying he looks fat? He looks basically exactly the same as every other player on the pitch, i.e lean

It also isn't fair for retards who blatantly haven't watched him at any point until this game - we're in April now - to judge him on the basis of 30 minutes against Arsenal in a team that is defending for its life.

Won't pretend to have watched much of him but from the little I saw at United, he seems to be good technically but seemed a bit lazy. Not sure if he has what it takes to be a United player one day, or where he'll play in the future. Wouldn't think he's good enough to play in the hole considering the others we have there now who are still young, but then has he played much as a deeper midfielder before?

Up to £6m, so £1m less than Bebe.
The add ons would be based on things like appearances for United, appearances for England and future success so if hes as poor of a signing as you seem to think then you shouldnt have to worry about the 6m figure
