I see stuff like this and wonder why teams don't improvise more often?

With so many set plays and set lineups with players being asked to play very specific roles - surely some improvisation can really throw a team off?

Mainly because they are fairly low percentage and are done more so out of desperation than creativity.

There’s a reason (well, multiple) it’s voted as one of the greatest college football games of all time. It’s difficult to pull off a stunt like that.

Chiefs are averaging 4,5 offensive TDs per game this season while the Jags have given up four defensive TDs all season  Gonna be some game on Sunday, something's gotta give.

It seems more often than not to favor the top tier defense in these matchups but can Jacksonville actually score enough?

I figure KC will get to at least 17 unless their offense just feasted against bad defenses and is vastly overrated at this point.

Jacksonville has faced only one good offense to date, New England, and gave them fits. But this KC offense has many weapons that NE did not posses.

Hard for players to remember them all. They have to memorise tons of plays already.

New England has 4 prime time matchups in its next five games, so lots of RedZone for our resident Pats fans in the next few weeks

Josh Gordon will get 150 yards or more and at least on TD tonight.

Ffs Brady I’ve got Jules in one league and Gronk in the other, so don’t be rushing for no TD

Stumbled onto this gem tonight.

Meanwhile in reality he doesnt have a catch...

Edit: Lol seconds after I post this.
And td now. He just waited for me to comment

Some crazy interceptions in this game. Brady had two that were tipped by his receivers into the opposition hands, and Luck lost one when his receiver caught a low pass and his momentum coupled with a defender's tackle attempt resulted in the receiver literally tossing the ball into a defender's hands. Sucks that QBs get charged with those interceptions in the stat book.

Michel just had a very nice run.

PrimeTime was right, we were a Julian Edelman away from being right where we need to be

Yeah I hate that. Cost me some points in fantasy.

I think the Gronk one went down asa catch and fumble unless it was changed post game.

But yeah, agree about the stats point.

I thought we played well on offence and if anything 38 may be understating that given two unfortunate INTs/ or 1 INT 1 dodgy fumble.

Our defence made a couple good plays but honestly don’t think we can stop any good team moving down the field at will. Heck, even average offences could do it.

Looks like the offense is starting to click. Great to have Jules back.

Michel looks a really good addition, has contributed the last 2 games.

I still think the Pats are vulnerable against the good sides. This isn't the same team of a few years ago.

From the AFC I’d put Kansas & Jags ahead of us right now. We’ve got Kansas next & then the Bears after so those games will be a good indication whereabouts this team is.

If Michel and Gordon kick on with Julian back, the offense would be fine. But that defense will need a lot of luck in the playoffs.

Didn’t realise the Jags-KC game was the early one.

Packers are a mess man. Imagine having Brady waste his prime years with this lot. It's just sad at this point for Rodgers.
We have to get rid of Mike McCarthy as soon as possible. The way things are looking right now, Rodgers won’t get another shot at the Lombardy trophy with us.

Get Jim Harbaugh in. I reckon, a bit like Mourinho, he would inject some motivation in the players and maybe sneak a SB in the first 2 years. Then chuck him.

I’d like to have someone young who is offense minded. Don’t really care who.
We won’t get rid, though. Same strange holier than thou attitude United has.

If there wasn’t a single Lions player present, that game would still be 17:0.

Mahomes is intercepted

Thankfully wasn’t Ramsey otherwise he wouldn’t have stopped talking about it.

Dunno why all those people said the Giants need to draft a new QB, OBJ has that shit covered.
