Hook and ladder. Pretty rare.

Popularized during an epic playoff game between the Dolphins and Chargers in the early 80s.

Looks great when it works

Yeah, was just baffled cos Sanders seemed to have no idea it was coming.

Bell will reportedly be back at the Steelers during their Week 7 bye.

Mahomes is special.

Unless I’m mistaken, KC tend to start seasons very well & then run out of steam as the playoffs approach. This season feels a little different though with all that offensive talent.

They started 5-0 last year only to go to 6-6 after that. In 2016, they actually started only 2-2 and ended up at 12-4. Even worse in 2015 when they started 1-5 and ended up riding a 10-game winning streak into the postseason at 11-5.

So it was only last year really that they struggled after a great start but even then they closed out the season with a 4-game winning streak. I think everyone has to give huge credit to Andy Reid though, he has the offensive weapons at his disposal but still manages to get the most out of them, something a lot of other coaches in the same position are currently struggling with, i.e. McCarthy or Tomlin for example.

It's a damn shame the Earl Thomas trade won't go through now as they supposedly were still trying to figure something out. He'd have transformed their defense as well which would've made them the early AFC favourite to reach the SB imo.

That said, once again some juicy games to look forward to this week. Luck vs Brady, Jags-Chiefs, Vikings-Eagles, Steelers-Falcons

 guess I was wrong!

I like Reid as a coach. I think he’s done a very good job at KC & he made the decision to go with Mahomes over Smith, which so far is paying off.

Looking forward to their next game, the Jags D will be a good test for this offense.

this is a fun game to look back on, knowing what we know now

One of the most absurd and entertaining games ever, college or pro.

How did the Broncos do? I expected the loss to be bigger to be honest.

They did very well. This comeback win was a result of Mahomes playing sensational, not good or great but sensational. Tbf Chiefs were without Watkins and Peters but still they had to play exceptionally to win. I thought the Broncos would have won against anybody else.

Yeah, blew our 65 game win streak of winning by double digits in the 2nd half.

That said, no 10 pt lead is safe against that offense.

Cheers guys, KC are definitely for real, hopefully we can beat the Jets next week!

Mahomes was incredible, to do it against that pass rush in that environment, amazing stuff.

Kamara is 3th in receptions and 7th in rushing yards this season, might just be my favourite player in the NFL right now. Absolute monster.

They did fairly well. Mahomes was largely contained for 3 quarters. He just upped his game in the 4th which in the end made the difference. Broncos did well for most of the game though - Lindsey and Freeman were generally very effective. This Denver team is definitely better than last year.

They could've been 3-1 atop the AFC West though had they hold on, now they're 2 games behind with a very real possibility of a 3-3 start given they're facing the Rams in Week 6. I don't think the Chiefs will be looking back from here on unless they suddenly collapse like last year.

Also, the Broncos could've won the game with 22 seconds left but Keenum inexplicably overthrew a wide open Demariyus Thomas down the right sideline. Would've been an easy TD and Denver win.

Their secondary is still god awful. They can definitely collapse if Mahomes has a few bad games.

That's definitely their achilles heel at the moment but they are so good on offense that they can simply overwhelm opponents. How good they are will be uncovered when the face the Jags and their #1 defense next week and then the Rams (in what could be a SuperBowl preview) in November.

They're definitely fun to watch, but like you said Keenum missed a wife open Thomas for a TD win. I'm starting to think the better teams will be able to handle them.

We could see some records broken the season. Thomas and Thielen are on pace to smash Brown's single season reception record...and Big Ben and Goff and likewise on a torrid pace that may threated Mannings single season yards record. Julio Jones is also on a good pace to challenge MegaTron's receiving yards in a season.

Finally caught up on the Cardinals Seahawks matchup.

Rosen, bar missing the wide open receiver in Q2, I thought looked pretty good. His deep ball the Nelson was a peach, Nelson shouldn’t be dropping those.

What did you guys make of him?

Some crazy stuff going on right now. Not even to mention Mahomes!

But purely based on memory, I think this is common early season and usually tails off.

Anyone here who is going to one of the London games and is not a ST holder . Have you received your ticket for the game?

Mahomes is Mahomie, what a star in the making. He's got a lethal cannon of an arm, plays with instincts and is in the right setup for him to thrive.
