Ugh
Gronk was useless. I didn't see him most of plays.especially since Gronk is doubled all the time.
Big dick nick!Foles

Gronk was useless? More like, he was double and triple covered.
Our offence is one dimensional and isn’t firing at all. And when that happens (and there is no cooks, no dola, an underperforming Brady) it’s easy to put two and three on him.
The thing that got me was how the OL was so easily bullied by 4/5 rushers. Not even constant blitzes, just good pressure up front & double coverage on Gronk threw off our offense. It was really poor that McDaniels/Brady couldn’t come up with something different, especially the lack of passes to Gordon who should be having an impact if Gronk is being guarded by 2/3 defenders.
Also, I’ve said it all season that the RedZone offense sucks. If we can’t fix that, we’re not going far in the playoffs.
Gronk is just about done. I think he'll retire after this season. A shadow of his former self.
Yeah I think so too. The injuries & hits look to have taken their toll.
You must have missed the trade attempt in the offseason.Remember when two defenders couldn't stop him? He'd just catch the ball over their heads and drag them along for 15 yards after the catch. Now he's almost at the point where there's not even a point in double coverage unless he's literally in the end zone. Still a decent threat, but he's simply lost his wheels/bullishness. Surprised Belichick didn't see it coming, or even disappointed if he did, but decided not to do anything significant other than Gordon for the Red Zone/deep threat.

Cooks doesn’t fit the philosophy (never did), and our TE depth is already lacking. Think we need to draft a TE tbh.I saw some headlines. Getting rid of him wasn't what I was thinking about, though. Not resigning Cooks, for example, was a mistake imo. Taking a punt on Gordon, who's played 10 games the previous two seasons combined is fine, but not really a sure thing, and he hasn't exploded like BB was hoping.
Hopefully Brady will still be motivated after this season, and I pray Bill and the rest of the office spend the offseason building a juggernaut around him. They'll have something like $20m cap space before any moves, cuts, etc, so at least they'll have some flexibility.
Really have, Rams have slipped as well with Goff reverting back to his rookie season form. Reckon the Bears as NFC favourites right now.Saints
They have fizzled out in the past few weeks
Need to focus on TE, DE and LB in the off-season.Cooks doesn’t fit the philosophy (never did), and our TE depth is already lacking. Think we need to draft a TE tbh.
Touchè you Boston Cheats, that's pretty impressive.

keep going am nearly thereSaw something on ESPN this morning when scanning channels during a segment on national signing day for college (basically where adults wank themselves silly over which school signed what teenager). It was mentioned there was chatter over the past couple weeks, whether to lure a talent away from or perhaps legit chatter, that Harbaugh was leaning towards the Green Bay job and this may have affected recruits signing/not signing with Michigan. Make of that what you will. One tasty rumor to salivate over.
The Pats are just about at the end of their success cycle. Once Brady declines substantially, that will be that. He can't indefinitely throw to the likes of Gordon, Edelman and Gronk and expect it to work every single year, and since Brady is now in his 40s, you have to think this could be the final year they make deep playoff run under the Belichick regime.
keep going am nearly there
Phillip Lindsay becomes the first undrafted rookie voted to the Pro Bowl in his first season. He's been a real highlight this year, well deserved.
