Why did they even bother?
No idea. Either kick it deep or get Dickson to try another drop onside kick. I'm sure they'll get this to ice the game here.

Thank god for that. Reduces the size of the miracle we need.

Another week where a team loses a game because they were too afraid to advance the ball few more yards for the kicker

Meh, I’d hate to give up a few spots in the draft for a field goal. That’s where my priorities are now in the Vance Joseph era...

Seriously you need a Fg to win the game and so you take all sorts of risks to get into the other half but with a 50+ Fg you start playing safe . Just can't understand this and it's happening week after week

False start on the 1 yard line...

The less said about this game the better. MOTM for Seattle was the punter.

Wagner had an amazing game too.

Texans are not Very good , they are going to 100% lose in the wildcard round
I think we'd have a decent enough chance if we get the Chargers at home. We're only getting in if we win the division (at #4 probably), but the WC teams of the AFC are nothing that special.

15 yard penalty for that celebration. Why risk it in such a tight game?

The punter is an Aussie kid right?

Just checked, yes he is. Great stuff.

Fun fact: Sam Darnold's grandpa's name was Dick Hammer, which has to be the greatest name of all time.

There was a kid in my school called Richard Power. His middle name was William. Dick Willy Power.

I also knew a girl with the last name “Langhammer.”

Brady lives for these games and it’s usually where he produces his best. I don’t think he’s done, but it would be niaive to think that there are not any signs of declines especially with his play yesterday. The drop in performance this year I think is tangible. He is still elite of course and doesn’t take away from his career (just like Mannings drop off didn’t).

Gordon was immense. Green Bay had some fouls which helped us no doubt (but at same time we did give them lifelines to keep them close too with some drops and not getting in in 4 attempts from the 1 yard line).

Our secondary looked decent yesterday too and pass rush eventually came into play. Patterson too, great signing.

So it's now settled on Redcafe, Brady > Rodgers and we'll never hear of it again, right?

I think if I give my honest view, Rodgers is more talented but Brady is more successful and has intangibles that are difficult to see, obviously.

Who is “better” is simply a component of what you include in the definition of better plus bias plus what you value more in a QB. I don’t think saying either Brady or Rodgers is better a silly opinion.

But tbh I don’t think it’s worth having this convo.

Already used up our flea flicker and double pass on this Packers team. Gonna have no surprises left for the playoffs now ffs. Well except the double reverse to Brady, and he only catches that 50% of the time.

3rd and 12. Lets call a screen.
MM still being in charge this long after the Seahawks debacle is the biggest shame, as its another year of Rodgers prime being wasted.

Was so obvious the run was working, so he decided to go away from it. like really?

I've been seeing this a lot in jest haha. It's like people forgot they have already played against each other.

As a few folk have said above, Brady is destined to go down as the greatest ever and Rodgers as the biggest what if? This game only further showed that.

I do agree that MM is pretty crap but calling a screen on third and long is actually common. In fact we converted on a screen on third and long in this game.

But he does it. A lot. To the point its obvious we are going to do it from a set up.
Its basically him saying 'ok lets settle for 3'
