Offence is still garbage, thank jebus for Jones.

@Eboue I know you're wumming, but there's a reason why McCarthy is parked on his couch instead of a sideline somewhere. Dude is no coaching guru. In fact, I'd turn your argument around and say Rodgers has masked McCarthy's coaching deficiencies. Rode his coattails all the way to the Super Bowl.

mccarthy is undefeated since the duo split. rodgers not so much. i rest my case.

Nonsense. North is one of the strongest divisions there.

In fact the only team where 3-2 lands a team at bottom of the table.
Nah, it's still early and records are deceiving. Bears can't run the ball and just lost to the Raiders. Vikes and Lions hardly look like teams that will be challenging for anything. Green Bay has an easy path to winning the North. Much moreso than the Eagles or Cowboys of winning the East or SF, Seahawks or Rams winning the West. Highly doubt we’ll be seeing a wild card team out of the North.

I disagree with most of that. The Skins are garbage and the Giants aren't doing anything either, so the NFC East is just 2 strong-ish teams (Cowboys have been manhandled over the past two weeks and the Eagles are decimated by injuries). The Rams aren't as good as they used to be, and the Niners are just not a 3-0 team which I think will even out over the course of the season.

The Vikings might not be a playoff team but you're not just waltzing into Minnesota to get an easy W. Lambeau neither as the season goes on. The Bears have their difficulties on offense but yesterday's defeat was on their D I felt, they simply didn't show up - 3 rushing TDs allowed to the Raiders while they only allowed 4 rushing TDs all season last year. I also read that they didn't get to London until Thursday afternoon which seems baffling to me (don't know when the Raiders arrived though).

On a seperate note, I thought Reich had a beautiful game plan in the second half of last night's game. Just long, exhausting drives, continually running the ball on a bad run D and converting a few 4th downs here and there. That's the way to beat this Chiefs team.

Didn’t expect the Colts to win! To hold KC to so few points as well. Considering the stuff with Luck, they’ve done very well to be 3-2 in a tight division.

Cowboys losing is nice.

I don't think he's a particularly good coach but to be fair to him, he had next to nothing to work with this season.

His star WR is a guy that was brought in for special teams, his starting RB is once again on IR, the guy who he wanted to be the QB started for the first time against the Pats with barely any practice or rapport with any of his playmakers, with a turnstile as LG. Their O-line star is holding out. Just a very bad roster at the moment and 4 of their 5 losses were very expected (24-3 against the Giants is inexcusable though). Might get their first W of the season against the Dolphins next week.

100% agree. He's probably delighted to be out of there.

He could have started the season with Haskins, though. He should not have given him the first start against the Patriots.
His approach in that regard was very chaotic. He is definitely partly responsible for the 0-5 start. There are no reasons to excuse him for that.

McCoy started against the Pats, Haskins hasn't started yet, only came on against the Giants when they were already trailing. The fact that he threw 3 INTs and that many reporters and Skins coaching staff alike have said that he's still picking up life as an NFL QB regarding reps / playbook / training and stuff, indicates that he's nowhere near ready to start. They are tied 8th for sacks allowed, tied 7th for QB hits... The last thing you wanna do is throw an inexperienced rookie QB in who is not ready for the task.

Of course he's partly to blame and the HC will always be one of the first to pay the price, but this is just a dysfunctional franchise throughout imo.

On a separate note, I just saw the Devin Bush INT in the Ravens @ Steelers game, surely that ball hits the ground and shouldn't be counted as an interception? Weird.

Yep. The other interception on the ball intended for Andrews was a clear DPI and wasn't overturned either. There were a ton of terrible calls/non-calls in that game, mostly benefitting the Steelers. The drive following Bush's interception was pretty much all from BS calls.

Baker Mayfield needs to stfu. More playing well and less talking needed in Cleveland.

Booger makes me want to shut it off. Just stating the obvious and just describing what is going on. "OBJ covered well there", "remember the field shrinks in the redzone", "that throw was too high".

Maybe the other commentators do it too but he is the worst.

I’m convinced that he’s not a real person and his comments are actually sound bites from Madden.

Agree, how's he going to handle this next press conference. I hope that former coach (Rex Ryan) who called him out has another crack.

You are 100% right
