NFL Thread 2019

The pass interference calls not getting reversed last night were a joke. Was listening to a podcast today and they rightly said that you can't show the viewers something and then decide something completely else . Anyone who saw those replays about 50 times on the broadcast could see that there was interference and you have the commentators trying to guess along with an official what will likely happen and then finally the umpires come up with something completely the opposite. Also I love the NFL but I feel like the number of commercial breaks is somehow going up . It's alright on Sunday when there are lots of games at the same time but these single games are becoming hard to watch now with so many breaks

... I bet that was a particularly hard joke to make for you :)
It was, yeah, but at least I'm at the point where I can joke about it now. Did take half an hour for the flashbacks to stop though.
I really wonder how long it'll take before we finally give up on Jimmy Graham. The guy is a complete disaster since he's in GB.
Guessing he'll be gone at the end of the season, his contract makes it tough to cut him this year but easy to give up before the final year. Never fully recovered from him patellar tendon injury.

He’s really struggled since leaving NO. I think he had one good year at Seattle but otherwise his career doesn’t seem to have gone anywhere.

Yup. I want to see Tonyan more.
Yeah, he showed some promise and is at least able to get some separation. Graham is basically just standing around and doesn't even block on an average level. Horrible signing. We should have kept Cook.

Sternberger injured?

That was confidence sapping loss. Not really the time to face Dak and Zeke esp with no run D to speak of. And if we don't get back Adams we're toast.

Sternberger injured?

Yes

Eagles were so good last night.. look like the super bowl contenders we were promised this season

On one game despite looking rubbish all other games they have played

I said solid, not a superstar  And he's up against the best D in the league.

All the games today and Sky for some unknown reason showing Pats v Bills . Thank God for redzone

Burfict’s rap sheet for dirty play goes back to at least his days at Arizona State (and I only say that because I haven’t seen his HS film). I remember watching him play in college thinking he was a dirty player.

Dude smiled and blew kisses as he walked off the field

I know it's kool to dis the Pats but why wouldn't they? Both 3-0 going into this game. Plus lots of NE fans in the UK. Makes a lot of sense really, despite a couple other games being perhaps more attractive to more neutral fans.

Wow that's a bad decision on the Golladay td

Edit and then a worse one by Stadford

Most Lions thing ever to cough the football up on the next play

Should have been a TD and now they get nothing. Officials just love to screw the Lions.

Can vouch he was a dirty player while at Corona Centennial too!

Yeah but glory hunters and people who just like cheats mostly . Why cater to them ?
