NFL Thread 2019

Perhaps. But when you could plug-in 10/15 other QB's into his situation and win a similar amount, you have to question that logic.
Well I'd just question your logic but if you really believe he's a system QB and it's all down to Belichick we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one :)

You know how little somebody knows or how much of a hater they are when they throw that system nonsense at you.

Saquon’s the best RB in the league already idc
Is there any debate about that? The best and by far the most talented. Only Zeke comes close imo. Kamara is so talented too but he has other attributes rather than a pure RB. Zeke’s 70-something catches really impressed me last season.

I know CMC set records but don’t think he’ll repeat that if Cam’s shoulder is healed.

I see Tony Gonzalez entered the NFL HoF.

Jeez, talk about making me feel old. I still remember watching him playing for Cal.

Good news. Still capable of making plays when it matters & I think he’s got 2 years max left (I’m still amazed he’s going now, with nothing left to prove).

Will be interesting how he adjusts without having Gronk at all.

The all time stat records are still on the table, especially with Brees still going strong. Both will want to finish their careers on top, a tall order for Brady given that Brees is two years younger and still dropping 4k passing seasons.

James White 100+ receptions incoming.

Josh Gordon applied for reinstatement too

Turns out Brady’s extension is just a pay rise & he will be an unrestricted free-agent after this season.

I expect him to finish his career (2 more years imo) with us but a little risky tactic from the Pats.

Nah don't think so, I know it's the NFL but can't see him signing with any other team than the Pats at this point.

Would be funny to see him go to the Lions or something and completely stink it up though.

The meltdown from Pats/Brady fans could rival the Messi v Ronaldo thread if that would ever happen

Would be like Messi going to Leicester and being shit.

Would never happen.

I don't think you can aptly compare footballers with an NFL QB. Also, I think the possibility would be very real that Brady is nowhere near as good for another team right now given the fact that he's shown signs of decline even at the Patriots.

Depends on the team. Put him in a team like Dallas & he’d be more than fine.

Whilst there is obviously going to be a decline (hopefully not as bad as Peyton), I think people are quick to forget in his last three seasons he has lead the Patriots to the biggest comeback in Super Bowl, won the regular season MVP and if he could catch possibly could’ve won another SB and then last season made the big plays when required against Kansas in OT and then the one decent offensive drive against Rams in the snooze fest.
