NFL Thread 2019

The owner stuff is embarrassing and symptomatic of the usa

He looks like a ventriloquist dummy.

So obvious the NFL and the officials fixed it for Kansas City to win.

There is no way not one referee saw the most blatant offside call of all time and threw no flag, that was a joke of a call.

As well as the OPI on Kittle but then no call on the blatant DPI on Sanders, it spoils what was a great game because it makes it feel like it was absolutely fixed.

Flags kept going out against 49ers all the time and were letting KC back into it

Thats the game for me
That's the game
Game over

Damn it! And the NFL thought no one would notice.

You're laughing but you can't refute my point, can you? You're telling me that offside wasn't extremely blatant?

Your point was that the NFL fixed the match. This is why everyone is laughing.

Officiating was dogshit. But we need to look at ourselves first. We mishandled that 4th quarter in our own ways

Okay. Better team won, simple as.

I’m fecking miserable feck this. I’ll be happy about the overall season in a week and at least it wasn’t those Ravens cnuts but feck me

People laugh but I wouldn't be surprised if NFL encouraged refs to act a certain way. Not a total fix but if one outcome means more money they'd try and tilt it. Something about most american sports feel fake and over monetized to me.

Dude, don’t be too upset. You guys have a great foundation to build off of. Good defense, coaching, and key players on offense. Still mostly young and will be right there in the mix next season. Biggest obstacle is prolly that you play in the NFC West. Something tells me Jimmy G will grow from this though.

What I was most surprised about was how much KC targeted Sherman.

Count me among those laughing

Enjoyed watching the full game from start to finish, I'd love to get into it all the time, but I don't think I can put 4 hours spare every time I want to watch a game.

It's weird that offsides can't be challenged though, especially when it's something that's clear on review and not arbitrary like offensive or defensive PI. The Clark(?) one was a blatant one which could be spotted on first view.

Fell asleep mid way through third.

Just watched the rest of the game. Glad for Reid and Mahomes.

It’s cringeworthy every year when the owner received the trophy.

Also not really sure Mahomes was the MVP for this super bowl.

If anything this game proved that Pats were better off letting Jimmy G go.
You can question a lot of things about the tacticts, the refs, but you also have to admit that Garropolo was quite poor in that last quarter.

Agreed. I think Garropolo is a decent starter in the league. But he won’t be the one who carries the team. He’s essentially like Cousins.

It is. But I think it’s a function of, never really needed to bring it into a challenge. How many missed false start or offsides can you immediately think ok? Not many.
