NFL Thread 2019

Wrong day from our O-line to go back to last year's form.

Just the first quarter. Plus, given that opening drive from the Bills, you guys are on catch up in terms of momentum and settling into the game. I expect 2nd quarter might be better for you.
Let's hope so. This just feels all too familiar tbh.

This is why Fuller would have made a huge difference being on the field. Right now no one is getting open quickly enough to counter the Bills rush, because it’s so easy to focus on Hopkins. Stills is decent but it’s just not enough.

This is a complete domination from the Bills D.

Sigh. I'm mad at myself that I actually thought it would be different this time. But no, just the usual WC Weekend letdown.

On the other hand, now we don't need to travel all the way to Baltimore for a 40-something humiliation.

what kind of playcall is that? why call a timeout and then hand it off to frank gore
Think they're happy with the FG and just wanted one shot at the endzone on 3th down?

Not only that. They then decided to spike it instead of just calling another time out. Which made no sense anyway, because they wasted 15 seconds and made it third down, which meant they only had 1 play anyway effectively to pick up the first. And even if they did, likely only would have had time to kick a FG. All to save a time out - but in the end they just chucked it into the end zone anyway.

Dont think you’d just give up on a TD with a time out and 30 seconds on the clock ...

Can only assume they thought the Texans would sell out against the pass and instead Gore would surprise and pick up yards.

Just to offer some hope for @RobinLFC, you get the ball in the 2nd. Go down and score, and it’s a one score game and the whole game dynamic/momentum shifts significantly to your favour.

The Bills left some points on the table - the late dropped TD and a failed 3rd down conversion on the first FG that could've led to a TD.
