NFL Thread 2014-2015

The music

Graphics have improved!

Was surprised to see Cleatus The Robot on the Sky Sports coverage! But that's a good start!

As usual in Seattle, an amazing atmosphere!!

I ain't no Seacawks fan but Percy Harvin in the open floor is one of the most amazing sights in all of sports.

Great chance to get on the board here.

Also, Ha-Ha Clinton Dix is a great name

Brilliant play! Great drive from Seattle.

Another very good drive. Seattle's offense looking very good so far.

True, but Packers continuing where they left off, missed tackles, unable to grab the guy, badly timed penalties... and injuries. Lynch is a beast no doubt though.

At least we have Rodgers for offence.

Cos they wouldnt have got the first down tbh. Although Rodgers ran the first down on the 3rd down and decided to throw it away which was odd.

Stupid penalties continue on Packers.

Good half. Great to have the NFL back.

Seattle look in good form. I think they'll sneak the win.

Packers have been so rusty this first half. Lacey looks slow, and the defence looks terrible so far with mental glitches. Being 7 down now is a win.

Given the way the half went, Bigger chance of them losing the ball and Seahawks scoring with them going for it than Packers getting the first down (and they had no time outs left)

One of the fundamentals of the game, defence. Packers have a good habit of somehow missing tackles.

Granted Seahawks are the champs, have a great chance of retaining due to a good team. But some bad mistakes today by Packers. Looks like rust on both sides (defence and offence). Though defence has started well this half.

So defence turns up this half and offence goes to shit for Packers.

I assume once ARod scores a TD, defence will disappear again lol

Offensive line, and defence needed. And theyve needed it since the year after they won the Superbowl yet havent addressed it (kinda like United and the midfield).

Rodgers is carrying this team as best as he can. Showed last year without Rodgers, Packers were one of the poorest teams. Hes probably one of the best QB around and were wasting his prime with a poorly constructed team (capers is not helping either)

Sounds like Pittsburgh. The only difference is the Steelers have drafted poorly (Hood, Brown, Adams, Urbik, Ta'amu).

EDIT: #59 is woeful, BTW. He looks far too slight to be playing linebacker in this league.

We will still make the playoffs, but we will lose to the first good team. Its kinda depressing seeing the same thing happen but not being addressed.

Seahawks though look strong. Home advantage obviously helps them big time as well.

Packers need a re-vamp defensively. Bad. Front to back.

That's a bit dramatic. Its incredibly hard to beat the Hawks at home and a lot of ordinary offenses get blanked. It wasn't going to happen on opening day if they were to drop a home game.

Great that the NFL is back. Both sides looked rusty I thought but we (Seahawks) were always in a comfort zone. Good to see Lynch firing on all cylinders and with Harvin fit I think RW will get a chance to really shine this season. Sherman must have been pretty bored!
