He's not cleared, he was suspended for 2 games, in line with policy, but Goodell shit the bed after the court of public opinion (I love that term now) raised a hublah. The second decision to indefinitely suspend him was arbitrary and knee-jerkish, and a neutral arbitrator rightly shut it down. Now the policy has been amended so that a domestic violence conviction carries a minimum 6 game suspension, which is fair enough, but the new policy shouldn't apply to Rice.
It makes me love him more. I always like the guy everyone else hates eg Ronaldo.
