NFL Thread 2014-2015

They had a better player last season - McCown. Cutler is on the bigger contract and for some reason is considered good.

Bowlen and Elway, spurred on by that arrogant prick, McDaniels, traded him and a fifth round draft pick for Orton. Kyle Orton. KYLE ORTON. Let that sink in a bit.

Orton proceeded to inevitably lose his job to the worst QB in the past decade, a name I refuse to mention.

Josh McCown has never been nearly as good as Jay Cutler. Not even close.

Cutler was traded with a 5th round pick for Orton, 2 1sts and a 3rd. You need to recheck your facts.

Oh my bad, Eboo. Anyhow, McCown performed very well in Trestman's system last season. Cutler is just a mistake waiting to happen. They have enough offensive talent that he shouldn't be so shit.

 excellent

I remember a PE lesson years ago where we were shown a game where the band came on the field celebrating, then the opposition scored, and smashed half the band out the way. Must have been a college game I think

John Elway had just led a drive to take the lead with 4 seconds left for Stanford, then this.

There are so many great moments in college football, you guys who only watch the NFL are missing out. Here's Boise State (think Preston North End) knocking off Oklahoma (think Chelsea) with a Hook and Ladder on 4th down with under a minute left in regulation. A halfback pass on fourth down in overtime. A statue of liberty play on the two point conversion in overtime.

Hook and Ladder 2:41:25
Halfback Pass 2:53:50
Statue of Liberty 2:56:30

It's hard enough keeping track with the NFL when I have work and stuff in a different time zone. Keeping up with college stuff when it's not even shown on TV here as far as I'm aware would be difficult

College stuff is on ESPN, and sometimes BT Sports(assuming you're UK). There is a live game on BT2, and ESPn tonight, at 1am, and there are always games on Saturday night.

Any weekday during the day there are replays of the previous weekends games, at reasonable times, should you get a chance to watch. Some great stuff too.

I just want to say I tried to stay up. I tried. But then that real life thing got in the way and I got called in to work for 8 tomorrow

Richie Incognito worked out for Denver and the local sports shows have gone apeshit over it. He wasn't signed, yet. Yes, I'm currently in Denver on military assignment. It's friggin cold here this week.

Hardest college hit I witnessed... resulted in a broken jaw. This hit would be illegal today, and probably rightfully so. It was brutal and defenseless. Btw, that's Quentin Coryatt making the hit, who later played for the Colts and was drafted second overall in 1992. The player taunting the injured receiver is (I think) Derrick Frazier or Kevin Smith, the latter went on to play for the Cowboys at cornerback. The "hit" still gives Aggies fans boners to this day.

He's even signed memorabilia title 'The Hit.' You can buy on ebay!

Some of those videos are sick , please keep them coming (new to NFL so wouldn't mind NFL ones either)

I think he's a douchebag but he was amazing in college.

I second this. Really comes across as a douchebag but he did some magical things at quarterback at Texas A&M and never quits during a game.

Redzone on Sky - does that basically give you choice of game to watch?

So tomorrow, if I press the red button will I be able to watch the Broncos?
