NFL Thread 2014-2015

Lovely throw. Detroit offense does something useful!

Missed opportunity for Lions. 8pt game, Detroit making a game of it just as the United game is about to start...

Lions win!!! 22-21

Last play 48 yard FG taken by Prater!

Wow!! Disappointed that couldn't see the final quarter with the football on but good game. Good for the crowd, was a decent atmosphere again.

Apparently Pats game started a lot earlier than I realised

 I forgot the clocks going back meant earlier KOs.

Good start though by the Pats and threatening again with 1st and goal...

3 TD's in 57 seconds. And we deferred the ball at the start so we get it first in the second half. I'm loving this, destroy them!

Most points ever given up by a Bears team in the first half in NFL history.

4 tds so far from Brady, shame the decline is on and he's past it and that...

 this. Everyone was writing him off after the Kansas game.

Turns out he's still decent.

Edit: actually 5TDs!

Excellent start to a tough run of fixtures for the Patriots.

Great to have Brady-Gronk link up again effectively. Hope the big man stays injury free now.

Mike Smith is done in Atlanta, been a great coach for them in the first few years but they've stagnated badly recently. Dimitroff could probably do with being shown the door aswell but I don't think that will happen.

Nfl announced another 3 matches for London next year, would have been four or five but the rugby World Cup made it not possible, they might try having two games in successive weekends as a test

Ahhh this is a bit annoying. Surely they could have used other stadiums? Hopefully there'll be some good games.

Steelers murdering the Colts right now.

That would be interesting. Guess that they'd still probably sell out but it seems they're looking to establish a proper fan base before they bring a full time team over.

I was at Wembley today. It was my third IS game and it was by far the best. Stadium looked amazing during the national anthems, atmosphere was incredible and the game was just brilliant. Worryingly, I even quite enjoyed Little Mix in the pre game show :wenger:

Looking forward for the last one of the year in two weeks

I recall some saying he was done circa Week 2 and actually calling for that Garoppolo fella to take over (obviously knee-jerk idiots and anti-NE persons). Le sigh.

Give Brady all those weapons Peyton has...

Missed their window of opportunity and never addressed the defensive problems that prevented them from making at least one Super Bowl appearance.
