NFL Dynasty League

Can't for the life of me find where the league settings/rules are?

Cant wait for this fecking thing to end

I'm just impatient

Always enjoy the draft though

@Eboue Just want to confirm how the taxi squad works. You can only promote players from the taxi squad, right? Meaning if someone on my taxi squad is getting bumped up to the active roster, the person they're replacing needs to be dropped rather than being demoted to the taxi squad? Also, can you trade players from your taxi squad or do they need to be on the active roster first? Will other teams be allowed to raid your taxi squad?

  • you can only promote from it. the only way to put someone on there is to draft them or add them via free agency. you cant put anyone who is acquired via trade or anyone from your active roster on there.
  • yes you can trade from your squad, but the person acquiring them has to put them on the active roster.
  • correct, there needs to be an open roster spot. you could trade one of your 11 QBs for a draft pick next year and open a spot. you could cut someone. you could make a 2 for 1 trade, etc.
  • no, no one can raid your squad.
  • you can only keep players on the squad for a max of 2 years, then you have to promote or trade/release

Thanks for clearing that up. Btw, it's only 4 so far. Still waiting to see if my Josh Rosen and Daniel Jones picks go through.

I put up a poll for which team will finish in last and I'll do a couple more during the preseason. It will be fun to look back at when the playoffs roll around. I'll also get a schedule finalized today.

I also want to talk about tanking briefly. It's fine to tank by trading away your veterans for future draft picks or young players. It's not fine to tank by benching Julio Jones in favor of Hunter Renfrow. Each lineup spot must be filled each week with a player who is not on a bye and has a reasonable chance of playing. I'm not going to make any further rules except that I'll know it when I see it and the league will punish accordingly.

Short version is that rehauling your roster is legitimate tanking, purposely starting a bad lineup is not legitimate tanking.
