NFL 2023

Too many Broncos fans it's like having twenty mates all into football and while most are United and Liverpool there are somehow three Sheffield United fans there that you don't know what to do with or talk about to.

You can understand everyone else but Broncos? I mean even if you were born there is there any excuse?
All sports fans should be gloryhunters

On that subject, there's been a lot of discussion about where the edge is between these two. Both have good defenses although Dallas's is arguably better. On offense, the 49ers have more weapons. But they have a QB who has only played a handful of professional games whereas Dallas have a seasoned vet. It's not a good look for Dak that he doesn't seem to be able to make up the difference on offense (the way that a top QB would be able to on that team, even with less explosive weapons than SF(.

Losing Diggs makes the defenses even closer in measurement.

I've just never been enamored with Dak as others are. Just don't rate him.

Barring any unforeseen injuries, SF will win this.

I thought I'd have way more than 8.
I have no affiliation.
I like to see underdogs like the Jets win though, so put me down for them

Possibly. Or no more winning effect (which I guess goes hand in hand).
I was a bit worried that my interest in the Bucs would wane a little bit with Brady leaving & having been used to a level of success over the past three years, but his departure has enthused my interest with the team. I’ve been supporting them since 1978 & have seen the worst they could offer, sometimes for decades, but I don’t see any backslide currently, especially mentally. The uncertainty of how we are going to do has got me even more enthused than last year with Brady.

Put me down with the Niners please!

That's pretty cool, both the Souths are rather true for being shit.
I wonder if that’s up to today? If so what stood out to me was just how bad the Jags must have been that despite winning a bit more in the last couple years, they’re still the worst team - even worse than the likes of the Jets

I reckon I could be an NFL player if I tried.

What stood out to me was how impressive the Steelers record was for the last 10 years with nothing to show for it. I know they haven't had a losing season in ages but they've been racking up a 10.7 over 17 game record for ten years and haven't looked like winning a Super Bowl.

I dunno. Mainly because you simply can't say 'barring injuries' with the 49ers as they ALWAYS have significant injuries for some reason. But also because I'm not sure about Purdy

I agree that Dak has something missing so I'm not entirely sold on the Cowboys either. I think there's every chance that a team other than Dallas and SF could win the NFC.

Watching the Rays play themselves out of a bye in the first round of the playoffs right now. I have counted at least three different socks being worn by Rays players (maybe four) & multiple heights of the pants legs. All geared to one’s own personal style.

If this occurred during an NFL game, there would be tens & tens of thousands of dollars of fines.

I’ll be hiding in here and the NBA thread for the rest of the season

It's the little things, but DAZN not putting up the Redzone theme music 5mins before the start does my fecking head in.

Pack without their two best offensive weapons, neet to capitalize on that today.

Yeah for sure. The offense needs to get going. The defence has been destroying opponents so far. Looking forward to seeing what Miller can offer. As I’m typing that, we go 3 and out

Wasn't PS2 meant to be shadowing Hill today? Feck sake.
