NFL 2023

Holy shit. Makes me think of that NFL vs soccer thread, or whatever it was. I never see things in soccer that make me react in awe like that.

What the feck has just happened?

Broncos just scored 3 legit touchdowns and 2nd 3rd and 4th downs and first 2 marked short even though both crossed, quite clearly. Didn't challenge either.

4th down flew across, but then an offside on a players helmet being 0.0001 mm over the line? The player who throws the ball back to the QB (can't remember the position name).

Absolutely wild.

Also American sports fecking suck with the amount of time management. Christ.

"Let's waste as much time during a game as possible so we don't have to play the game"

Honestly I don’t mind it. I actually find basketball and American football can become really interesting when the clock becomes a factor in playcalling. And it’s much more above board than the time wasting in football to be fair

Steelers are in a weird place with Tomlin, they are never bad enough to get a top pick and draft a good QB but at the same time they are never really a threat for anything serious either. Permanently a middling team

Garnacho overhead kick didn't make you react like that?
Yeah we covered that on the previous page. That was ironically one of the only moments recently that was impressive to me. Probably more because I’ve stopped really watching any football outside of United now and even if United do manage to do something of quality, I think they’re just going to feck it up anyway.

Yeah I feel you. Doesn't help that the teams that have the most wow moments in the PL recently are our biggest rivals that we're not going to watch voluntarily.

Aka Vikings life. Both franchises refuse to tank, it's not part of their identity.

What are these plays where the ball isn’t thrown called?

We seem to have found some that actually work.
