NFL 2023

Would have taken going 2-2 in this stretch but the manner of the losses is worrying. Still hold the tie breaker over Dallas so no room for any more feckups

The Chiefs have the same record as the Browns who've started games with Joe Flacco, DTR and PJ Walker, that's mildly amusing.

AFC:
Ravens
Dolphins
Broncos
Jags
--
Bills
Texans
Colts or Bengals

NFC:
Lions
Niners
Eagles
Saints
--
Cowboys
Packers
Rams

That would be my preference for the playoffs if I had to choose today, with the Ravens and Lions as the #1 seeds. Looks like Mahomes will finally play a road playoff game this season if they make it in (which they will looking at their schedule). Also I thought the Eagles held the tiebreaker over the Cowboys according to Twitter but they are currently listed as the #5 seed on the NFL site.

Mahomes really embarrassed himself yesterday

Was hilarious to see him say all the right things the week before and then completely lose the plot and say the opposite a week later. The guy is always trying to play the refs so any calls against the chiefs ( the offside being clearly correct) will be celebrated by the majority.

Eagles got bitched. Cowboys defense was solid, Eagles only scoring field goals and a defensive TD, annoyingly impressive. Scoreline doesn't truly reflect how bad the Eagles D was, Cowboys could have easily run up the score, if they wanted to. And for all the talk of their easy schedule for the rest of the season, the Seahawks looked pretty decent today too against the best team in the league, hard to see that being a win.

Refs made the first half near unwatchable, pretty softs calls against both teams, when they should've just let them play. They missed more than one lining up in the neutral zone on both defenses too, yet still somehow called Dickerson offside on the shove, when it was Kelce's left hand. Must be the 3rd or 4th time that's been called this season.

I think the Eagles only hold the tiebreaker if both teams win out, as they'll have a better conference record by the end of the season. I don't think the Eagles will win all 4 though.

Has a kicker ever been in the conversation for MVP as Brandon Aubrey is just breaking all sorts of records this season?

Not sure if serious.

Obviously not but he has been having a fantastic year and kickers are completely underrated in the game when they can literally make all the difference between winning and losing

Surprised you've got the Cowboys so low on that considering their form post-bye week!

Can’t believe that we were fighting for Tyreek hill and now someone mentioned kicker for MVP. How about a long snapper who does his job well

I just listened to a podcast about this so knew the kicker who won MVP, wasn’t going to get HOF

Fancy the Rams to win their next 3 games & get to 9-7 and then week 18 their season is on the line against Niners who may or may not have something to play for. If Rams make it then they are a very dangerous wild card opponent

Yeah they have a couple of real game changers on that offence

Feels like each season there's an NFC West week 18 matchup for one team to get into the playoffs

Trivia time. Without looking, name the five kickers / punters who are in the HoF:

Ray Guy - P, JanStenerud - K, Morten Andersen - K, Lou Groza - K, George Blanda - K

Name the only kicker to win the NFL MVP award:

Vinatieri, Ray Guy and I think Morten Andersen?

for the second question, is a trick one and an old school QB who would kick also?
