So 3 weeks to go … who do we think is getting in?

Looking through schedules, for the NFC I think I’d take (in order of seeding)

Packers
Bucs
Cowboys
Rams

Cardinals
49ers
Eagles

Packers and Bucs should win out. Cowboys have a couple tough fixtures but should win at least 2. Vikings have a tough run in. As do Cardinals I think which will see them drop back and Rams sneak that division. Saints and Eagles have winnable schedules, Cowboys are the toughest for the Eagles but I think Cowboys could rest players in that game. If they don’t, then Saints could creep in. It’s hard to call Saints Eagles or Vikings but gone Eagles.

In the AFC,

Chiefs
Titans
Patriots
Bengals

Colts
Bills
Chargers

I think Chiefs should be clear up top. Patriots and Titans will fight for 2nd but I think they’ll take it as we will lose to Bills or Dolphins as usual toward end of the season. Bengals have an easier schedule than the Ravens which is why I see the Ravens drop out but whoever wins this week between the two will decide that. Chargers have the nicest run in. Colts have a tough run it but with Taylor I see them making it.

AFC is such a toss up though. And Covid could play a huge role the next 3 weeks.

Kupp looking increasingly strong as an MvP candidate. Legit chance he breaks both Michael Thomas' season receptions and Megatron's season yards records.

I'd go with the Rams ahead of the Cardinals.

The annoying thing about the Eagles is that we could win out the rest of our schedule and still miss out because they have us beat in the H2H. Our hopes could be resting on their game against America's team.

I don't see the Vikings squeezing in there with the Packers and Rams still left on their schedule. Even the Niners to be honest, looking at their remaining games, should be sweating a bit.

Edit: sorry this post was in response to this rpitroda post. Apologies.

They're pretty good quality highlights too, usually 10+ minutes, even for low scoring games.
The NFL puts their highlights on YouTube. The score is not in the title of the videos or in the description, so unless you read the comments it should be fine.
Cheers, I think I tried it on my phone though and saw scores, but will go directly to it. Thanks

Defensive players should be given way more credit too.

The likes of Aaron Donald, JJ, Von Miller etc. can have just as much impact on a game/season.

Yes they get DPOTY but MVP shouldn’t be exclusively an offensive award.

This years Colts are a pretty good example of how teams aren't always living and dying with the QB play by default.

I'd just scrap the MVP and create more POTY categories so one award isn't clearly held above the others as it is now.

I think there should be an award given to the best Tom Brady every year. The winner gets a Super Bowl ring.

Dude needs some help. One thing is for sure, the Packer Boycott (proclaimed by my GB born and Packer loving wife) shall continue in this house.

I always use NFL on YouTube for my highlights. I also saw the score on one of the videos for the first time last week. Seems to be when you search for the highlights and it brings up a playlist which includes the scores in the thumbnail. I’ll go through finding their channel in my subscriptions from now on to try and avoid it.

Any good recommendations to what highlights with no spoilers?

They do do good highlights but the annoying thing i find is, is that the thumbnail gives it away which team won the game (usually the player carrying the ball means his team won) . Also when watching the highlights itself, scores from other games popup on the bottom of the screen which again spoils things.

Or they show some meaningless run at the end of a half, but rarely show replays of touchdowns. Still good, though.

Usually I just watch Detroit "highlights" and think of Eboue's reaction. It's a simple pleasure.

I am so amazed that so many people get to highlights stage without knowing the score of the games

It's just the Monday and Thursday night games for me. I very rarely stay up for them, so by the time I catch up on the highlights the next morning, it helps to not know the score.

Saints beat writer reporting an outbreak :( Hill already out; Ian Book in line to start at QB.

For the love of God take anyone but Kamara.

Armstead and Ramczyk out too it appears. Ian Book will definitely start. Hill and Semien both tested positive this week so he's the only available QB. Kinda looking forward to it to be honest.

Lavante David & Lenny on IR, done til the playoffs. Evans looks okay.

What a shitshow Sunday night turned out to be.

Yeah excited to see what he can do, the organization is still high on him according to Nick Underhill. Wouldn't mind seeing some Kamara wildcat either

Dalvin Cook also has Covid and apparently unvaxxed (since Rapoport says he's out 10 days). Why are all these NFL stars such dickheads? Joey Bosa as well at the moment.

Yeah probably, such a shame though as they (willingly or not) still function as somewhat of a role model for a lot of people. I thought the NFL vaccination rate was around 90% for most teams, so surprised to see it's a lot of stars who are unvaccinated. Might be because they don't need to worry about a roster spot because of vaccination status compared to players on the bubble, dunno.
