Pat McAfee was gaining credibility but surely this stupid episode has to sink much of that. Obviously he will stay relevant to a decent number of NFL diehards but Pat had a real chance to go mainstream.
How would this sink him? Because he didn't call out Rodgers?
McAfee has never presented himself as someone knowledgeable enough to do that except when it comes to football. All he was doing here was giving Rodgers the chance to let people know his side. Like he's done for months now when Aaron appears on his show.
His relationship with Rodgers is a goldmine to him. He's not going to alienate him now. That's ridiculous.

Trade deadline is done. Can't trade him.
I've seen people also why Beckham didn't do these shenanigans before the deadline. I maybe wrong but obviously no one will trade picks for him and pay his money at this point. This is his best way of getting out of this situation. Force the browns to get rid of him via waivers.
