2/5 over 34 points i don't think i would even risk that tonight

Some guy bet half a million when it was DEN +4. It’s moved all the way to +2 due to the Baker injury among other things, so he must be feeling swell.

I'm still somewhat surprised by the line, I'd go for Broncos outright with all the Browns injuries at this point.

Some OBJ news would be nice so I can adjust my team before I go to sleep.

D’ernest Johnson had a good game ey?

How can the Broncos lose to that Browns team

Pat Surtain already looks like a star in the making. Gonna be between him and Parsons for DROY imo with Owusu-Koramoah out for at least a few weeks now.

Beyond Fangio being a terrible hire, the problem last night was generally feckless play calling with the exception of the first TD drive towards the end of the first half. Losing Von Miller to injury and already not having access to Chubb, Jeudy, and Hamler are definitely major factors.

That was truly awful from the Broncos, in all phases of the game. But in particular that defence. Know there are injuries but that unit just isn’t performing at the elite level it should be.

I just can’t believe that the Broncos signed Bridgewater and didn’t get a good prospect through the draft or try to go big for some sort of a good trade . A top QB can turn teams around so quickly

I don’t think it’s too early to start talking about replacements for Vic. Daboll the OC at Buffalo and Kellen Moore seem to be the hot names. I have always liked Leftwich, but he’s only marginally more experienced than Moore. We might be wary of those two after the last couple times we gave a young coordinator their first gig, especially given the ownership situation.

I don’t know if they were serious with the suggestion or it was an NFC East fan trolling me :p , but Pederson has to be in the conversation for the above reasons. He and Daboll might be at the top of the list unless a top NCAA coach decides to take the leap; I can tell you Riley and Matt Campbell won’t be one of those here. Can’t speak for one of the hot B1G or PAC names.

Bieniemy will not be an option for Denver, supposedly. Some took issue with me saying there might be more to him not getting a job than discrimination last offseason, but I’m just telling you what I’ve heard…so take that for what you will.

Riley is the only college coach I would take as he would install a similar offense to what Kingsbury has done in AZ and has a similar creative mind to the latter. Joe Brady more than Kellen Moore for me is the real deal but I think he needs another year before he can make the step up into a head coaching role.

You need that type of QB though if you’re going to install a college coach. They don’t have that at present.

Moore really is interesting. He’s so young but what he’s doing on that offence in Dallas is pretty special. I think though he might still need a bit more time. But won’t be long until teams come calling.

You don’t necessarily need a ‘type’ of QB; they’re usually QB-friendly offenses sort of like Shanahan’s.

Besides, you install the right coach/GM first that will then find the right QB. That is what Zona did, which is working despite the coach being a bit daft because they found a QB.

True.

Leave Kellen Moore alone, the only place he will be head coaching is Dallas

I think they go after Byron Leftwich.

There weren't any good QBs available in this draft or last one for that matter, that would've been better than Bridgewater.

Maybe not for this season but Fields & Jones have the potential to be really good pretty soon. Nothing I have seen from Bridgewater tells me that he will ever be anything beyond a decent starter

I think I would have preferred either of those to Teddy and bedded them in if I was in charge of the Broncos.

This season is pretty much a write off anyway with Bridgewater

As much as I love Surtain, passing on Fields was a miss imo.

Not sure about Fields, but Jones would've been a good get. Although, I doubt he would be able to make a bigger impact than Bridgewater has. He's a good fit for the Pats as a faux Brady type Bellichick can rehabilitate himself with. I think the Broncos need more experience to make up for the youth of their receivers. Losing Jeudy was massive.

RedZone can't start quick enough today. Shame the clock didn't go back this week

Not having to worry about Geno Smith for another good 24 hours makes RedZone a lot easier to sit through as well of course ;)

Yeah, that helps. Much more relaxing when you know you're a good day away from another burst of disappointment.

At least I can enjoy RedZone without the Broncos adding to my misery today.

They got that out of the way on Thursday this week.

United getting trounced.

Pakistan looking on course to win.

Hamilton not on pole.

Only thing left is losing to the Jets to round off a bad day of sports for me
