Love the offseason hype some players are always getting after some flashy catches in training camp. But McLaurin could maybe make the second year leap to superstar status this year. Only thing what's making me doubt it is Haskins and the lack of points they will put on the board.

Crazy to think he came into the league as a special teams player just last season (I think).

He was so impressive his rookie season

I've been given 8th pick so more than likely I'm going to be in the running end of draft picks. 10 in total. Should I aim for highest as possible? Or just go 10 with the guarantee of 2 consecutive picks in the snake.

Thanks

As a Jerry Jeudy dynasty owner, I couldn't be more excited to watch this kid play this season.

I have a feeling that a lot of rookie WRs will do well right from the get go, although that seems contradictory with the lack of preseason games and rookie camps they've had. Jeudy already is a WR2 next to Sutton, Reagor might be the only healthy receiver in Philly apart from JJAW, Lamb is just a good football player in a great offense, Ruggs will be involved in all positions from the start, so will Bryan Edwards in that offense, ...

Justin Jefferson was 3th on the depth chart so far I read though, behind Thielen and some guy I had never heard about.

He's behind Bisi Johnson, a second year 7th rounder who had a better rookie season than fans expected, but I reckon Jefferson will become number 2 fairly quickly.

I mean, he's good, but highest paid safety in the league... Not for me. Jamal Adams will be licking his chops though.

Kinda shocking, decent player but he's a little dude. Saw Myles Jack do this to him once live and in person.

Unsurprisingly, just got official notice from the Chargers that SoFi Stadium won't be having fans this season. My season tix got pushed back to next season.
STATEMENT FROM LOS ANGELES CHARGERS, LOS ANGELES RAMS, SOFI STADIUM
After careful consideration and discussion with State and local health officials, the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams and SoFi Stadium have announced that Rams and Chargers games will be held without fans in attendance until further notice.

While we all look forward to coming together to celebrate this new era of sports and entertainment in Los Angeles, the health and safety of our fans, community, players and staff remains our top priority.

We will continue to work with LA County Department of Public Health and the City of Inglewood on a plan that, when circumstances permit, safely brings fans to SoFi Stadium and adheres to local, State, CDC and NFL guidelines.

Should conditions surrounding the coronavirus pandemic significantly improve – and State guidance evolve – to the point we believe fans can safely attend games at SoFi Stadium, we will communicate the news at that time.

Some more reporting on Washington; still not sure if it is enough to get Snyder out of there, but it wasn’t pretty. (soft paywall)

Jeez this is a big risk. If the cap goes down and we can't afford him, this is basically a rental.

Still though, holy shit! We really went from Griffen to Ngakoue, lets goooooo!

It's not really a big risk, Reiff has a cap hit of 13.95m next year and if he was cut the Vikings would save 11.75m. Harrison Smith will have no dead cap next year and will be a candidate for a restructure. You can also add Shamar Stephen into the probable cuts since he would save 3.75m.

I think it's good value for the Vikings if they can pay him next year, always a lot to admire about that D.

Yeah it'll be possible to restructure deals here and there, but I'm just a bit nervous if the salary cap drops. Overall it's definitely a trade I'm definitely happy with, unless we only pulled the trigger because the Hunter injury is worse than they're letting on.

Wondering if anyone don't mind analysing my draft https://sleeper.app/draft/nfl/603647927583301632 I am 8th pick.

I think im short on RB's but I've noticed some people made some silly mistakes in that draft so I could potentially make a trade in my favour.

Thanks
4 QBs in first 9 rounds is not good. I know Cook was able to stay healthy last season, but both him and Gurley are still injury risks imo.

Did you pick Russell and Rodgers?

It's a superflex league, I agree 4 might be pushing it but 3 QBs is no luxury in that case. And disagree about the injury risk: Cook has played 25 of 32 games in the last two years yet is still labelled as injury prone because of his first season, and Gurley played in 73 of 80 possible games over five seasons and has never missed more than 2 games in a season, that's one of the best marks of all RBs during that time. He has had the knee arthritis thing since college so it shouldn't be any problem, + he went from an atrocious Oline to one of the best offences in football now..

Love your team!

Apologies forgot to mention we are playing superflex.

Love your team!

I've been offered a trade for Mayfield by Team 5 so I could maybe get a better RB?

That was my first ever draft with the help of @RobinLFC whos been helping me a lot! Thank you.

Did I make a mistake by not getting a better RB earlier? Seems like these were valued a lot of the teams.

Because I do not know much about the players is there a way to know who to pick each week?

Even if it's a superflex, it would have made more sense to pick one of the RBs that somehow dropped in the second round and then pick two QBs. Because after Top 2 the gap between QBs is negligeable while the gap between RBs is massive beyond top 12-13.

Yes I would've gone with a second RB too with what was left on the board, but thought you were just perplexed at him picking 2 QBs in the first 3 rounds.

Most likeable sports host out there. Can't wait to have him back.

Only one more Sunday left after today until the NFL is back! Exciting as heck, going to be hard to watch Brady as a Buc though although their first match VS NOS should be a good one. Excited to see what Cam can do too, and how our offence will change.

Concerned about our D with all the Covid opt-outs but hopefully plays out OK.

Derwin James expected to miss significant time with a meniscus injury :( :(

Would be interesting to have insight on this via Hard Knocks.

If anyone can recommend a RB that I should request to trade for one of my QBs that would be great.

Fecking hell, that's big.

Thought Chicago would try to trade for him after the Montgomery injury news for a 5th-rounder or something like that.

Wouldn't mind him at the Texans as David Johnson's backup/insurance. He was very inefficient last season though, even if he got a ton of targets as well.

Damn, I was hoping someone would waste a third round pick in my fantasy draft tomorrow.
Anyway, Jaguars have nothing better, Thompson is a third down back and Armstead's average yards per carry last season was poor. Surely they are in full tank mode.

I could see him at Bears, Eagles or maybe even Steelers. But as a fourth pick overall, taken before McCaffrey he's been a huge bust.

Steelers are fine with Conner, Samuels, Snell and now McFarland too. Eagles could make sense with Pederson's love for a backfield by committee yeah.

Jags are indeed gonna be awful this year. Minshew 650+ pass attempts incoming with 180 targets to DJ Chark

If Atlanta have the cap space, they are also an option. Gurley can't be trusted and they don't have a decent RB2.

But he is a generational talent that can carry an offense.
