Parker is out again. That has always been an issue for him, last year was the only time he has ever stayed healthy. Its usually just niggling week to week injuries, but they tend to effect him for quite a while.
Miami should try playing with a WR or RB. Might help to score points.
Gesicki is active at TE, but Shaheen has more catches. Not exactly an ideal no.1 target on offense.

What a disaster. Carr kneeled with 6 seconds remaining on 3rd down. Had they just timed their kneels properly and run down the clock competently, this strategy would have worked.
Instead، they choose to kneel at the 1 inch line and not even run the clock all the way down, giving Miami extra precious seconds. They then play some awful defense and spot them another 15 yards on a penalty to bring them within comfortable fg range.
This is the very epitome of incompetence. And the Raiders' 100M USD coach is refusing to take blame. You just can't make this stuff up.
I don’t know, but wouldn’t scoring a TD and going for 2 be the analytics play there? Would put them ahead by a TD if they convert and ahead by 5 if they didn’t. I’d rather the Dolphins need a TD with a minute or so remaining than a FG with half a minute remaining.

The choice was between taking the touchdown and giving Miami more than a minute or running the clock down to somewhere close to 10 seconds, which is what Gruden felt was the right play because he didn't trust his defense. But they didn't even run the clock all the way down on those downs. Had they executed their plan correctly, there wouldn't have been more than 11 seconds left on the clock for Miami to comeback.

Carr spiking it early had no impact because the clock was stopped out of a timeout. I think for any viable Fg option you are looking at about 40 yards minimum in 20 seconds which is pretty bonkers considering you don't have much scope for going through the middle of the field . TD is 75 yards but 1 minute is very long in NFL so I think the right call was made but just very poor defence
The Raiders largely managed the clock well towards the end. The problem was the blown coverage on the next to last play that had nothing to do with time management and everything to do with not being prepared for the obvious.

Anyone who saw the Raiders play against the Chargers the week before could see this coming. The Raiders secondary is non-existent. Pass rush actually had 3 sacks, but the secondary was as shitty as usual once Fitzpatrick got in the game.
Anyone who grabs a face mask in that situation should never play again. Nothing hurts a fan more than players making the dumbest penalties
