So, you're saying they fecked up in winning... agreed. Lawrence is miles ahead of Fields. Fields is a massive gamble IMO. I don't see it, how he's rated second overall by some.

Probably because Kiper has him at #3 in his top ten best list.

I believe Zach Wilson of BYU and Trey Lance of North Dakota State will be in the mix as well. Personally I'm surprised Mac Jones and Trask aren't getting rated higher than they are. I'd imagine Belichick will snag one of them.

Would agree with that. Wilson's arm is insane. I don't know much of Lance but perhaps another McNair/Roethlisberger/Wentz type - small school to rising NFL prospect.

Not sure about Jones and Trask. Jones - another McElroy? Trask - Florida QBs are trash in the NFL. That said, perhaps either is better suited in the pro style offense, and with a good coaching staff and right supporting cast perhaps flourish.

There's also Ehlinger, perhaps a third/fourth round gem for one team.

Also, worth keeping an eye on Malik Willis. Any team looking for a Lamar type QB will be taking a close look at him. Totally under the radar given where he plays.

Didn't realise the Ravens aren't even in a playoff spot anymore at the moment. With their schedule they're almost certain to end up at 11-5, think their playoff hopes rest on the Bills beating the Dolphins in Week 17 though (if they have anything left to play for).

I mean, yea, there’s been a change in the roster between VJ and Fangio, but so what? It’s still not working.

I think this guy is a bit too patient, thinking that one more year of Fangio will turn the tide. Personally I don't see it happening, so the faster they switch coaches the better. The bit about needing a proper owner is probably spot on.

DP was just talking about what a scout told him re: Jones, and basically the knock on him was he hasn‘t shown he can make plays on his own. So can be functional in a good offense but not a game changer...maybe Jared Goff-ish.

Wilson might be rising so much he won’t be there +/-10 where some teams needing a QB will end up, so that could be interesting.

I knew he’d been playing well, but those numbers are very impressive.

I've only been following the NFL since 2014 or so, that's recent enough to change allegiance, right? RIGHT?

Is it commonly accepted now when down by 14, the analytics say you go for 2 if you score a TD? Guess Tomlin showing he’s a dinosaur by kicking the PAT.

Sooooo if the Browns beat the Jets next week and the Steelers lose to the Colts, we'll have Browns vs Steelers for the division title in Week 17  Let's hope it doesn't get flexed to SNF in that case.

 JuJu gets some serious shit for his antics.

So the Jaguars now in position for the number one pick. Wonder how Jets fans feel about that.

Going to be interesting to see what they do if Lawrence is off the board. Will they take Sewell and keep Darnold or go for another Quarterback?

As for my Cowboys we have no chance of Sewell now and with the Eagles in position to pick ahead of us they will no doubt take anyone we would be interested in

Steelers feel like the Pats last year - had an unbeaten start to the season but you were never convinced they are as good as their record. I think they’ll be 1-and-done.

Yea he needs to stop being a tit. Though I Really hope the Dolphins sign him next year.

Fins have two first rounders, two seconds and plenty of cash. I'd love to see us start next year with JuJu at WR and Harris at RB. Both great players who have long time relationships with Tua.

We have made real strides but aside from Gesicki totally lack playmakers.

I wouldn't take him that high, and he plays for my team

I can't think of the last OSU QB that was an unqualified success in the NFL. Must have been before my time.

Did you see his appearance on That’s Good Sports? He also had his own podcast.

The guys is bonkers but very entertaining.
Yea, I saw that one. I hope he sticks at the gig because there are some comically bad commentators at both the NFL and NCAA levels.

like you couldn’t make such a video for any quarterback ever.
No. You wouldn’t be able to make a 5:00 video of incomplete throws in Super Bowls from any other QB probably. Which is still a complement for Brady.
