I have just moved to the UK and would like to know if streaming sports illegally is a big deal in the UK ?

Mike Greenberg of Mike & Mike just reported (via text received) the Bills have benched Taylor for the next game.

Can’t understand this.

Unless they think Peterman is their franchise man going forward, Bills have done well and are in real playoff contention, so big risk to change something now.

Also from watching the games I don’t see how Taylor is holding them back either to be honest. Problems have been on the D side recently.

Bizarre one

Their O-line is trash as well, the run game with Shady has completely disappeared and Taylor has taken a lot of sacks this season. Tyrod is not an elite QB but I'm also surprised by this, thought he was doing well this season.

I also hoped Bridgewater would be named starting QB today but Keenum remains for now. Sensible decision imo.

The Bills treatment of Taylor is weird in general. The guy is obviously not the next Tom Brady. But he is a very solid QB, one many other teams would like to have. It's not like they can get someone better.

Jacksonville could do worse than him.

Not just them. There's quite a few teams he would and should start at. the Jax, Browns, Texans, Vikes, Dolphins, Ravens, Bears, Cards, Broncos or the Bengals, are all teams where he'd have a good shot at starting right now. If they don't believe in him, they should have traded him.

Not sure about the list of teams here but agree in general!

What I probably meant was that Jacksonville with that defence would immediately become favourites for me, if they had a QB like him, who makes fewer mistakes than Bortles.

That‘s true. Their D is special and the O has potential.

Sure he is better than Bortles but that isnt saying much. No way addition of Taylor makes Jacksonville favorites. He isnt that good.

They have easily the best defence in the league and someone who avoids needlessly giving the ball away is crucial. He doesn't have to win it for them.

Sure but there will be situations where you have to come from behind. Taylor isnt the guy to lead you down the field in the 2 minute drill when the game is on the line. Firstly he wont have the receiving core. Their run game is good with Fournette. But their receiving core isnt anything special. Broncos when they won it with Peyton didnt have a good QB but had a bunch of great receivers who can make plays and things happen.

If Robinson was fit, they wouldn’t be too far off though ...

Not sure why they kept Taylor anyways he had not been seen as their future. they could be throwing in the towel in hopes of using all the picks they have next draft to rebuild.

They have their eye on a QB this draft I think.

Are they gonna win anything this year, no, but for a team bereft of any playoff appearances in recent years, I’d be shocked if they’re throwing the towel in.

They are more focused on the long term I think. Even if they made the playoffs this year they know they need to continue the overhaul to build into a real contender. Their schedule gets tougher down the stretch, it's gonna be tough for them to make the playoffs.

Decent article on the move.

The writer makes a point many did about extending Taylor, they might have been better off going for Mahomes and letting Taylor go. But I think they have their eye on someone coming out in the next draft and will use their surplus of picks to get him.
Teams worse than the Bills need a QB too so there is no guarantee they are going to get who they want.

Although that Mahones situation is pretty interesting and dont know what Kansas is going to do this offseason with Smith's contract coming to an end. If he leaves I hope the Broncos get him.

Nope no guarantee but given their off season moves, passing on Mahones, they sure give the look of a club with big plans for the next draft.

The Vikings being the Vikings, the season will end this weekend with a 2-5 record for the rest of the season.

What do you think about Sloter, he seems to be highly rated by the Vikes and the rest of the league?

He did come in undrafted into the league this year. But in my opinion he isnt as good as some of the other names mentioned who have good potential. I mean he did well in preseason for us but I can see why we didnt keep him. We already have two young QBs who arent good and we didnt want add another one to the "potential" list. He wont get a game for the Vikings cause they have Sam, Case and Teddy in front of him if no one is injured.

The Vikings won't have them next year, they can't pay all of them. Best case scenario, one them gets starter money and the other gets good backup money but since loads of teams need QBs, I wouldn't be surprised if the Vikings only end up with one of Keenum, Bradford or Bridgewater with Sloter as backup.

I honestly dont get the deal with Bradford. He isnt a top QB. He is either always injured or does well against weak opposition and pundits and commentators talk about him like he is Aaron Rodgers. They wont trust Teddy yet with big money until he proves he can stay fit through the end of next season. Keenum has done well these past two games but again he isnt an elite QB. They are wasting potential on their team but not having a good QB. They have a good defense. If they get a solid QB they can go the next level and be a proper team.

I don't really get what you are saying, they are not wasting anything, the starting QB badly injured himself, in the NFL you can't replace a starting QB like that even when you plan for it, let alone when you lose him to injury. Keenum was signed as a backup and Bradford was an emergency trade. You can eventually argue that they should have tanked last year and draft high in 2017 but that would have been a wasted year too.

Also there is no next year with Bridgewater, his contracts ends this year, same thing with the other two.

I don't like the Madden view of the game, I hope they don't do this too often.

The reason it started was because of the fog. But apparently got rave reviews and now they are doing it more frequently.

Agree though. Was a bit of a fad, would quite just like the normal view haha.

Ah man, was playing AB in one of my leagues. He got 32 points.
