@Rado_N are you still convinced by Simean?

To be fair i think the Chargers Defence is really underrated.

I'm definitely starting to question him to be fair, but the O-line is unmitigated trash so it's hard to be TOO hard on him, although he should still be doing a lot better.

His decision making is poor and he doesn't seem capable of adapting to a bad read. He also needs to learn when to throw it away.

Bad Oline is a great way to destroy young QBs.

Are you interested in seeing Paxton Lynch get some game time?

Hm, yea but he seems to turn to shit when he steps on a real field. From what I've read he looks great in practice but can't carry it into a game, so sounds like a mental thing. He's injured anyway, and Brock is Brock.

feck it, throw Chad Kelly in there!

Brock Oswieler, yeah go with him..

Siemian wasn't the problem yesterday. He was 25 for 35, had a 70% completion rate with 0 TDs and 1 pick - neither here nor there.

The problem was the running game. The Broncos don't do well at all when they are stuffed in the running game and barely got 69 yards rushing yesterday. Compare that with the season opener against the Chargers where they got 140 yards and won the game.

He was indeed the problem. He had 5.9 yards per attempt, which is good for 30th out of 32 on the season and fumbled twice. Denver has good offensive weapons, they need a quarterback to give them more.

He was 25 for 35. If he only threw short passes then you need to take it up with the OC.

Just ask David Carr about bad O-Line. Aikman got battered early on as well but fortunately Jimmy and staff patched it up. They turned Newton into an annual all-pro after getting his weight in check, found the likes of Stepnoski and E Williams in the draft, acquired Gesek and Veingrad for depth, and got great play from Gogan and Tuinei. It all came together at the right time and saved/turned Aikman's career around it can be argued.

That's not how it works.

Unless Siemian calls his own plays he is at the mercy of what he is instructed to do. The Chargers came at him with a fierce pass rush and sacked him 5 times and it was obvious that Mike McCoy was attempting to alleviate the pressure by calling short pass plays that would allow Siemian to get rid of the ball quicker.

The Raiders did the same against he Chargers last week.

The run game is also a problem. I'm not convinced by Booker and the coaching staff are obsessed with giving him loads of snaps since he came back from injury which has broken up the great work Anderson and Charles were achieving as a duo.

I think its definitely the O-Line and a matter of execution on offense. If you remember the first game against the Chargers that the Broncos won, they executed much better and wound up rushing for about 140 yards. The Chargers made the appropriate adjustments yesterday and held them to 70. The O-Line has been a big problem for a while and they don't seem to have fully resolved it. Once they do - with Anderson, Charles, and Booker - they should easily be able to get about 150 or more on the ground, which will also open up a lot of passing plays as well.

The injuries to the tackle positions don't help. We had a guard playing right tackle yesterday and a rookie at left.

If Alex Smith is a free agent at the end of the season, I hope the Broncos look at him. Kansas have Patrick Mahones who is touted as the next best thing so they might let Smith go.

This draft will be the year of the QB so the Broncos should have plenty of options. Lamar Jackson would obviously be the most attractive.

Bradford should be a free agent too. I can already see Rado's tears of joy.

Well apparently he couldnt beat Siemian to the starting job before he got injured. So what good is he going to be when he steps onto the field?
I dont know thats why i asked a Broncos fan?

1st round pick after all.

He had some game time last year and didn't impress. Wouldn't be shocked to see him get released at some point.

Long term, the current QB mess in Denver is going to have to get resolved by acquiring a top notch QB either from college or free agency because the current 3 are really just backup quality when compared to the likes of Brady, Rodgers et al.

Denver should do what Houston did in the offseason when they got rid of Osweiller and went with DeShawn Watson, which paid off handsomely this year.

Well it depends on shit their record is for a higher draft pick. Usually Denver is good at scouting. I hope Elway does some solid research and gets us a proper QB in the offseason.

They can always trade up on draft day. Depending on how he plays the remaining games, Jackson should go somewhere between 10-20 in the first round. He's a truly transformational player - a better version of Mike Vick.

Nelson Agholor is the most improved player in the league. From a player who couldn't catch anything to an incredibly reliable receiver

Siemian finished dead last among QBs this week.

How to Get Your Team Shut Out, by Trevor Siemian: Inside the Chargers' 40, Siemian went 5-of-7 for 38 yards (a total that is skewed by a 17-yard gain on fourth-and-26) with three sacks, two fumbles, and an interception. On third downs, he went 6-of-9 for 59 yards with a sack-fumble and only two conversions. He also had another fourth-down play; it was intercepted. He finished with 13 failed completions for 69 yards, both the highest marks of any quarterback this week. Deshaun Watson has only gained 66 yards on failed completions this season.

Just catching up on Bears Panthers. Newton’s release time is just ridiculous. Even on short quick slants he winds up the pass motion for what seems like an age.

Today I Learned...Aaron Rodgers is the biggest point spread mover ever in the NFL.

Something like a 10 point swing. They'd only be favored for sure over two teams without him.

Makes sense, he's probably the most valuable player since Marino.
