He had a min and i don't get this dak should have went down at the one yard line clock managment arguement we kept the ball pretty much all fourth quarter on that drive.

Not that. What @Sylar said. They should have run it.

Personally, I think that 9 min drive was a mistake. They should have hurried for a score taken lead and after GB has made their attempt, they should have tried to run the clock. Running the clock on a entire quarter is plain impossible.

And yet it worked - if that ignorant coaching staff wasn't trying to get cutesy with a fade route when having already controlled the ball for eight minutes with 1:24 remaining. The proper call there on 2nd and 1 with timeouts in the bag is to run the ball again, likely get a first down to set up four shots inside the GB10 to win the game while draining more time off the clock (Dallas had another TO (or two?) as well, GB had two).

If Dallas score thereafter, which is likely at the rate, there's probably no more than 30 seconds remaining. Rodgers isn't likely bailing GB out with that little time and needing say 30-40 yards for a FG shot to tie, let alone 75 yards to win.

I'd rather lose the game with my top tier offense having four shots with 60 seconds than lose the game because my shit defense can't stop anything.

Except Joe Thomas.
Poor Joe. It's waste for a great LT to go to the Browns. Just like it is for a DT from OU going to the Bucs, which were two of our best ever NFL prospects in Lee Roy Selmon and more recently Gerald McCoy (since I know not everyone here would get that reference).

I'm not bitter though...

They do have a lot of talent on their roster. In my opinion, they are simply lacking some spark to get them going. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win quite a few games at the end of the season.

I think they needed a better start to win quite a few games. Saw the highlights yesterday, and they made so many easy mistakes yet again. I agree though, they do have talent on their roster. How has their o-line been overall? Looked like a good unit before the season began.

Don't had the chance to watch them much, but from what I've seen they looked alright. Guess it's tough to look good as on O-line without a real QB as a thread.

Especially a QB who's holding on to the ball for far too long.

Best place to post this....where is the best place to get NFL jerseys, kit in the UK? Or just from the NFL online shop?

Also, what is it with these dead certs losing every week to mess up my accas!! Last night it was the Steelers, week before it was Falcons and Pats! Seriously!!
I posted a link to a Facebook page a few pages back. They're due to put another order in too I think.

Rodgers. GOAT QB.
Happy that Tae got the winning TD.

Packers have issues though and will probably come undone in the playoffs due to that secondary. Again. Shame for Rodgers.

He will need to win more superbowls before being seriously considered. QB ratings alone wont get it done.

oh no doubt. TBH, I think hes the most talented QB ive seen.
Brady will go down as GOAT cos of success.
I think Rodgers has been let down by management badly.

The need for fan boys to repeat the Brady is goat line whenever another QB shows they are more talented is always amusing to me.

I'm anything but a Brady fan. I just don't get the fascination with calling a player with one Super Bowl win to his name, who is in the middle of his career the goat. Brady on the other hand is at the end of his career with 5 rings, so its not exactly a stretch to call him the goat.

 So much comedy above. The need for haters to tag others as fan boys when someone likens Brady after another claims Rodgers/Manning/whomever. I think this happens in all of sports if I'm not mistaken.

Trying to solve the equation on how talented equals greatest. Puzzling indeed. I guess that's where Brady haters must resort to because their man can't beat out Brady in most categories. And this assuming Brady isn't somehow talented. Well shit, Rodgers can run faster = he's the best ever.

Interesting conclusion that I, a Dallas Cowboys fan, is suddenly a fan boy of Brady because I call it as I see it - the GOAT (my favorite QB was Aikman, if you're scoring at home). But please, do enlighten me some more so that I may see the errors of my way.

Thing is, this could go for numerous QBs that were fantastic even HOFers like Marino, Fouts, etc. Elway suffers in these GOAT discussions because the NFC was so superior in the 80s that Elway practically carrying and willing his side to three SB appearance simply had nothing to counter those great NFC sides (yes, I'm aware Elway won two at the end of his career when he was more game manager than great). So how does one separate Rodgers from this pack of all-time greats in such scenario?

Flip side is the likes of Aikman, Bradshaw, Starr et al rarely get consideration because they didn't post gaudy statistics due to the systems employed and often get negative marks against due to the surrounding talent but they won more titles while playing at elite levels.

Broncos should have made a play for Romo if you ask me. They have an excellent secondary and if Romo stayed healthy they would have had a great chance at another ring.
