Vikings lost their star QB in Bridgewater. Then Bradford. And yet turned Keenum into what looks like a magician.

Anyway that point is by the by!

I hate any injury celebrated by opposition fans. But I can’t help but feel it’s different for us if we are in the UK. If our opposition lost their best 3 players I’d probably feel like that kinda sucks when it’s NFL. If a Liverpool player got injured though, I don’t think I’d feel quite the same. And perhaps that’s cod of being from here and regularly encountering douchebag Liverpool fans.
I agree Vikings did lose Bridgewater but they had 2 seasons without him to readjust. And I don't think he is as important as Wentz is too the Eagles. The Vikings are such a talented all round team as well. Wentz was the man at Philly.
I actually think Vikings stronger with everyone fit anyway and you had a tougher schedule. If 2 teams playing who I didnt support I wouldn't want players being injured.

Lots of people saying it cos of the Brees Brady showdown.

In reality Vikings Patriots would be pretty epic. Two extremely well coached teams.

I was actually originally thinking this would be a perfectly good outcome for the Super Bowl but then thought about how the extent to which it would effectively be a home game for the Vikings may spoil the spectacle. By which I mean one team would have a very significant advantage over the other.

It’s nonsense to suggest that Philly isn’t an all around team.

Hehe yeah. Vikings are probably the best team in the league. And with a home field super bowl you’d expect big things.

Don't agree. Very few tickets will actually go to the home team. It'd be like the FA Cup final at OT. When it comes down to it, most of the tickets would actually go corporate, interested parties and rich bastards

Yeah but it’s not about the game only. It’s Super Bowl WEEK.

And all throughout that week, the team facing the Vikings will be in the city of the team they’re facing. The people they see all around them will be against them. And it’s the mental thing.

Agree on the mental side, but they'll stay and practice just out of town. They'll be insulated and, especially if its the Pats, they'll love the focus being on the home side. I'm not sure its an advantage

If it’s the Pats. Now now let’s not be hasty with that prediction seeing how the Steelers just got bummed :).

Yeah I get your viewpoint. But in the Super Bowl week you have so many media days. Interviews. Sponsor events. It’s not so easy to just stay out the limelight.

Was not meaning they not an all round team, they are but think Vikings are bettet.

Yeah Vikings are better.

It was sad to see the Wentz-train get derailed. But he’s young, incredibly talented, and has a very good team around him. He will be back into the playoffs there’s no question of that.

Philly have punched above what people thought this year. I think Wentz helped keep defence off the field more and worked clock well on offense. Keeping defense fresh helped defense this year, he is talented just hope he leads us to at least one super bowl win.

. Fair enough, but if Bortles does that to the Pats... I'd be bloody shocked, lets put it that way. I can't see anyone else but the Pats, and they know exactly what they're doing in the SB. They showed a stat earlier about the amount of games in total the players on the roster had played in the post-season. Pats had over 100 ahead of any other team. They know how to handle it... unfortunately.

Vikes are fecking impressive. And they’ve been doing it without their stud rookie RB who they lost to a torn ACL ...

If the Vikings do make the Super Bowl it will be interesting to see how they handle being in their hometown. Will they let the players stay in their homes and try to treat it like a regular game or will they gather them at a hotel to try and avoid some distractions

Ffs come on saints
TD

Want jags to win it all tho
But need patriots to win if Vikings make the superbowl
All shit lol

If Vikings win this the final four (bar patriots) are teams that built correctly and aren't reliant on a super QB

This is why we have trust issues. Brett Favreesque prayer not answered.

Bah going to sleep just as it gets good. Hold on Vikings!

 he got too much flack for that.
One of the most bizarre stories I can remember in recent memory.

Payton with two bad challenges (well first was worth a shot but poorly advised considering the catch happened right in front of their bench, the 2nd seems unnecessary). Likely to lose two timeouts in 2 plays.

Td woo
Great second half so far
Saints D needs to come to play now
Wonder if they will regret losing those 2 TOs
