This is one of the worst games I've ever seen. Time for conference-less playoffs.

Interesting isn't it that the last sixteen Super Bowls have primarily been dominated by the Patriots in terms of AFC representation. They've had seven in total with just five other teams from the conference making it to the final in the form of the Steelers with three appearances, two apiece by the Colts and Broncos and finally solitary showings by the Raiders and the Ravens.

Whereas the NFC has been far more competitive which has seen twelve teams in total including the Rams, the Buccaneers, the Panthers, the Eagles, the Seahawks, the Bears, the Giants, the Cardinals, the Saints, the Packers, the 49ers and the Falcons all make it to the Super Bowl in the same period.

It's called a dynasty for a reason.

Yes of course. I guess I'm just thinking that even beyond New England there has been little in the way of variation from the AFC.

Back in the 80's you had the same thing with NFC with 49ers, Redskins and Giants . It happens all the time in sports.

In the 70's, 7 of the 10 AFC Champions were either the Steelers or Dolphins.

MVP: Tom Brady (would have been Wentz but...)
OPOTY: Todd Gurley
DPOTY: Aaron Donald
OROY: Kareem Hunt
DROY: Marshawn Lattimore
Comeback player of the year: Todd Gurley
Coach of the year: Sean McVay

MVP: Aaron Donald
OPOTY: Gurley
DPOTY: Donald
OROTY: Kareem Hunt
DROTY: T. White/M. Lattimore
ComPOTY: Gurley
CoaOTY: Sean McVay

No chance Saints duo Kamara and Lattimore dont win O and D ROTY.

Both have been exceptional.

Yeah, Donald ain't gonna win MVP either. But I think they deserve it. I can't decide between Lattimore and White, but Kamara is the obvious choice.

This year would be a great chance to get a defensive MVP. Donald surely deserves it. Even though he is a star and a household name, his impact is massively underrated. There isn't a defender in the league who can even compete with him right now. The Rams D would be nothing without him. I doubt the Rams would've won even eight games without him. Never seen someone destroy the pocket from the inside like him before. The way is shoving guards and tackles around is unreal. The best player in the league right now.

That's Harrison "Hitman" Smith. Heck, he is the best player in the league.:wenger:

Him and Bakthiari missing out on the Pro Bowl has once and for all proven, how ridiculous this award is. But Donald is still more dominant.

Teams I’ve seen on various articles linked to London are

Eagles
Jags (guaranteed)
Raiders (Not rams, who will apparently be going to Mexico instead)
Titans
Bengals
Redskins
Steelers
Seahawks
Chargers

I’d be surprised if the actual 8 teams all came from the above list but would be a fairly solid line up if it was.

Can’t handle 5 games I don’t think. 4 is about eight for me ...

And sad no packs or Pats!

I do certainly expect at least one top tier game at Tottenham as the official launch of the only new NFL-friendly stadium abroad.

Very interesting article that. Pretty damn impressive stats and vids too.

Was he first or second team all pro? Can’t recall

Edit: first with Byard

Yeah, I don't think a lot of people realize how good he is, he doesn't have a weakness that I know about.

Seahawks fire their OC about three years too late while the OL coach goes under the radar, somehow.

International series announced today at 3.45pm

Interested in popping along for the first time this year, what's the story with tickets? how soon after the announcement are they released?

Usually very quickly. Depends what you are after, though.

Pretty quick is season tickets - first a period of a few days/a week for previous season ticket holders to renew theirs.

Then general sale for season tickets.

Then perhaps a month or so later, general single game tickets.

But, usually they announce games mid December. So do not know if that’ll compress the timeline at all given this years time of game release.

There's rumours of some massive games but not getting my hopes up.

They've both been let go?

Kris Richard has been released as well, I think.

Thank the Lord Cable has gone. I was 50/50 on Bevell. I wrote that before Cable was announced.

Not sure what's happening with Richard, conflicting stories.

Nice one, cheers!

Doing the rounds that we could get Raiders vs. Seahawks would be great

Yep, it's better this way. Really hoping to see some improvement next season.

Richard seems to be in the running for the HC job in Indianapolis.

Apparently:

Eagles @ Jags
Seahawks @ Raiders
Chargers @ Titans

But there has to be a minimum of 4 (per agreed deals) - 2 min at Wembley, and 2 min at WHL. But article i read says 3 only... so strange.

We'll find out in an hour, but that'd be a great line up! Wentz, Wilson, Carr, Rivers, Mariota... Bortles? Nah, surely Jags will fix that by then :)

Only three then, bit shit

Apparently:

Eagles @ Jags 14th October - WHL
Seahawks @ Raiders 21st or 28th October - Wembley
Chargers @ Titans 21st or 28th October - Wembley

Seems like there are only 3 games, and they are indeed the bolded 3 games.

Added dates and venues above in red too.

Hmmm yeah, only 3 games this time:

NFL London 2018 games

[Fixtures at 3.55pm]

Game 1: Week 6, Sunday October 14, Tottenham

Seahawks @ Raiders

Game 2: Week 7 or 8, Sunday October 21 or 28, Wembley

Eagles @ Jaguars

Game 3: Week 7 or 8, Sunday October 21 or 28, Wembley

Titans @ Chargers

But better quality match-ups I think. They are decently matched teams. The issue last year was not the quality of teams - we had some decent teams over. It was the imbalance in the match-ups. I think these match-ups are more balanced.

Every game was a blow out too. All one sided and over by the half.
These are good match ups. And its nice that Seahawks are coming over.

Just need Packers before Rodgers retires :(

I'll probably be going to the Titans/Chargers game since my mate is a big Titans fan. Would love to go to the Seahawks/Raiders game at the new Spurs stadium but wont be able to afford both and it's only fair I go watch his team with him since he came with me last time to watch the Dolphins.

Nice match-ups. Hope Jags get a real QB by then.
