Mind you, Prescott hasn't thrown for more than 200 yards in 3 weeks now. And he looked very average against Giants.

Yeah...but,

The Giants game is the 1st game in that stretch where he really struggled.

17-37

- Against the Vikings, he only threw for 139 yards but that was off 12 completions from 18 attempts
- Skins game - only a 195 yards but 17-24

Earlier in the season, he played worse against the Eagles - 287 yards but only completed 19 of 39!

He is a rookie that won 11 games in a row and people got a bit carried away with the praise. And now are going to the other extreme with the questions and doubts

Not everyone is knee jerk though lol, I've had my view for some time lol.

And don't really see the value in just looking at yards and comp % alone...

To assess Prescott you really need to understand his situation and watch the games. Stats never give the best picture about anyone alone but I feel this is even more pronounced with Prescott.

Anyway time will tell.

I didn't mean you...I meant we had people giving him too much credit (I didn't think he should have been a strong contender for MVP - yet, people were genuinely debating this) and now people are going overboard with the criticism.

Everyone knows, he's been playing ok and if Romo could stay healthy (and the issues with team chemistry), there is no doubt, he would make this offense a hell of a lot more dangerous.

My honest opinion is he hasn't been that great in the first place. He's been a game manager with Elliot and that O-line. Strongly believe that a good few QBs in the league could do what he has done. Maybe I'm alone in that view though since everyone else and their dogs bollocks are all over him like a rash as someone who's been incredible lol.

If the MVP comes out of Dallas IMO it can only be Elliot.

Agree with this. He could still turn out to be a superb QB & he's had a great rookie year, but I would say he is a solid QB who has benefited from a great OL & a RB who has been incredibly reliable. He'll be in the discussion but the MVP will be & should be either Elliot or Brady imo.

The Romo talk needs to stop but I can see a situation where they bring Romo back if Elliot has another poor game. The Bucs will be a tricky opponent this weekend.

Agree with that - and I know you weren't referring to me directly, but defended myself anyway

Yeah. I mean there's no doubt he's shown some great ability. The way he can move in the pocket, escape, and either throw on the run or run himself for yards has been great at times. He's shown some bullet passes and touch passes with good accuracy. He has the physical traits IMO to be very very good. I'm just finding it hard to commit to saying he HAS been playing at an exceptional level because he hasn't had to carry the offence, he's generally faced an easier passing D then most because of the way most teams will game plan Elliot. He's behind one of the best OLines in the league and on top of that, his receiving corps ain't exactly bad.

I dunno, they cut someone last year for parking in the wrong spot at the training ground.

That's quite possibly the best ever cut reason. I recall Jimmy Johnson has a few epic cuts during his Dallas glory years. The most known was Curvin Richards cut for fumbling in a game... twice. He was told not to fumble again and he did, and this occurred late in a game Dallas was well in control of.

For me the best cut was John Roper. Fell asleep in a team meeting and Jimmy woke him up and told him he could catch up on his sleep Sunday as he was going to be inactive. Cut him the following week.

Wow, Patriots claim Michael Floyd off waivers!

That could be a huge addition for them.

When he was cut I thought that was a typical Belichick signing, so not that surprised it's happened. Nothing to lose for the Pats.

Ticket master is a truly wank website.

Trying to renew? I just did mine now. It looks like due to the issues this morning, they are waiving the booking fee (which ended up being feckin 20 quid) if you do it before midnight.
I was half at the top for Twickers game, ive upgraded, ten pounds extra per ticket to be a level lower down but this time behind the goal. Lets see if its worth it.

Yep - I also renewed before midnight to get the waived booking fee.

I'm sitting on the 50 yard line at the top of the top tier (row N) in Twickenham. Sitting middle of top tier near 45 yard line in Wembley.

Reason I was so peeved off was because of the issues, I lost out on seats in row B in Twickenham on the 50 yard line. Which would have been the same price and would have been epic.

Your upgrade sounds pretty sweet for a £10er mate.

Some juicy prices knocking about in terms of Super Bowl betting. Anything can happen come play-off time.

Giants 22/1
Broncos 50/1
Packers 20/1

All 3 unlikely but there's always that one dark horse that gets hot in the play-offs

So Adrian Peterson is back and will apparently play Sunday. What kind of freak is he?

@Sylar @rpitroda how much are the 'season tickets' for the London games?

My one worked out as 236 for the 4 games (59 per game). But Wembley im behind the goal and 5 rows back. Twickers im in second level, but for some reason that stadium the prices are more expensive (probably cos there are less seats and they are trying to make up somehow).

Cheers mate, think we'll have to stick to a single game but just curious.

Getting down from Manchester for 4 games for the 2 of us makes it an expensive prospect to do them all.

Yeah its only worth it if you are going to go to all games and depending on where you are sitting. Think you can get a decent view Season ticket for less, but since ive cut down on United games im going to, its not too bad for me. Also for me, since I goto all, the season ticket value discount works out.

Yea if you can get to them all the ST is good value for sure. I wish I could, it's just not realistic.

Nice throw & TD by the Jets.

Might've stayed up to watch more of this if they were better teams than NY/Miami.

Looking forward to the Pats-Broncos game later, should be a good watch.
