Feel like the two consensus best teams in each side of the NFL at the start of the season are both wounded animals with Gronk and Thomas out. Both might make the Championship games but looks like neither will make the Super Bowl.

Not seeing it personally. Even without Gronk I'd struggle not to have the Patriots down as the favorites to make the Superbowl. It wouldn't surprise me to see them winning just to put me through the pain of having to hear people once again claim Brady is the greatest to ever grace our planet, I'm already fecking dreading it if it happens.

I don't think they need to win it for that to be said in fairness.

I think it will be Cowboys-Chiefs

True, although it'll be even more unbearable if they do win another.

I'm pretty torn overall on the NFC, as good as the Cowboys have been I'm not convinced they won't blow it in the playoffs, will all depend on who they play though. AFC I can't bet against the Patriots, as much as it pains me to say. In all honesty I wouldn't rule out a Pats/Giants Superbowl with Brady finally getting some revenge on Eli and beating him.

NFC is a bit of a mess after the Cowboys. And i don't know what it is or why, but I just don't see the Cowboys going all the way. It's just a gut feeling, probably wrong.

The AFC is hard to call for other reasons; there is too much quality there. Patriots chiefs/raiders/broncos/steelers on their day are all fairly tight games.

If i had to call it, I'd have to go with a Patriots Lions(?!?!) superbowl.

The Lions in a Superbowl and heaven forbid actually winning it may be even worst of a thought. The thought of @Eboue being happy and celebrating sickens me.

For Seattle - as big a miss as Thomas is....that non existent O-line is really killing them. They have enough talent and enough playmakers to win more often than not - but, it makes them very vulnerable against the better teams.

The main reason I sometimes find it very hard to bet against them is that in the past more often then not they've come to big when they've needed it most.

The thing is they've always had the talent levels to do it. This year with the O-line being poo and losing a key piece of their defence, maybe not.

How about the Bucs? Wonder what you all make of them?

Bronco's schedule is brutal. I think they finish 9-7.

Winston is getting better all the time, Martin is very good and Evans is a STUD...but their offense is still mediocre. They're on a winning streak (5 in a row) and looking good, but this is their current points difference : -3

I just think - they'll be very happy if they get into the playoffs. That's progress....I don't expect them to cause any ripples in the post season.

London games 2017:

Ravens-Jaguars, Browns-Vikings, Rams-Cardinals, Saints-Dolphins.

Meh.

Crap games and 2 of them are at twickenham ffs.
I complain but ill still go to all 4 :(

One more defeat and you can see them somehow implode. Why Jerry Jones is talking about Tomo or being asked about Romo-Prescott is ridiculous. They should kill that and saying barring injury he is the starting Q. For the rest of the season

I think you'll lose vs Patriots and Chiefs but beat Raiders.
I think our strength (Defending the passing game) matches up favourably against their main strength which is weakened due to missing Gronk, plus our home field advantage is significant with the altitude. If we can convert some third downs and score I think we can limit them enough to eek out a win.

But then I am very optimistic when it comes to the Broncos.

Going to be really tight for you guys.

Dolphins have 3 divisional games but without Tannehill(?)

You are playing the three best teams in the AFC though lol.

And given situation of both ball clubs not unrealistic to wonder if the 7-6 teams like Titans have an outside shot.

The Titans have to go to Arrowhead next week though, where I don't expect them to win. Texans have Jags at home which should be nothing but a W.

I think Denver will lose against the Pats and Chiefs but win its last game against the Raiders, who themselves will finish 11-5 at worst imo (@Chargers and vs Colts coming up).

1st seed: Pats
2nd seed: Chiefs
3th seed: Steelers
4th seed: Texans
5th seed: Raiders
6th seed: Dolphins or Broncos

Is what I think it'll be in the end, depending on Tannehill's recovery.

Just seen the Pats highlights. Good win & solid performance. Brady made up for throwing the pick with a lovely deep ball to Hogan for the win

Jones needs to come off punt returns. Wtf was he thinking?

Haha we are all looking pretty decent on the AFC side excluding our wild cards.

We are all pretty much a shambles on the NFC side

Edit: in fact it looks like only me and @JPRouve will get 1/4 on league winners on the NFC side.. the rest are 0/4! Lol.

The Vikes would have won without the two dozens of injuries.:(

My Cardinals pick to go all the way is dreadful!! Them and Panthers have been the biggest letdown this season imo.

Yeah the NFC predictions are pretty bad but who'd expected the Cards and Panthers to be this bad after the seasons they just had...

For what it's worth, looks like I could be 6/6 on my AFC predictions and 4/6 on my NFC ones, that's not too bad.

Yeah that would be pretty solid if it happens

Cards have been fecked over by their special teams beyond description. They have 5 wins, but....

Week 1 - bad snap leads to missed game winner against Pats - 47 yard FG (very make-able)
Week 4 - special teams lets the Rams bust open a return for a TD in the 4th quarter that ended up being the difference
Week 7 - the easy kick against the Seahawks in OT to win it...luckily Hauschka also choked
Week 11 - this not so much...against the Vikings, they need to start off well and Patterson returns one to start the 2nd half.
Week 14 - 1 missed FG, 1 PAT missed and 1 PAT returned for 2 points (they lost 26-23)

Even if you only give them 3 of those 5 games...it's a completely different season.

Wtf is Jerry Jones on with his nonsense type responses. He needs to surely put that QB debate to bed.

Mind you, Prescott hasn't thrown for more than 200 yards in 3 weeks now. And he looked very average against Giants.

Also Browns have now gone a calendar year without a win.

And with the Bills Chargers and Steelers down the stretch it's looking pretty ominous for a winless 0-16 season.

Rookie wall?

Rookie wall?

My honest opinion is he hasn't been that great in the first place. He's been a game manager with Elliot and that O-line. Strongly believe that a good few QBs in the league could do what he has done. Maybe I'm alone in that view though since everyone else and their dogs bollocks are all over him like a rash as someone who's been incredible lol.

If the MVP comes out of Dallas IMO it can only be Elliot.

Bills might be their chance. They are done for the season. If the feeling in the locker room is that Rex and company are gone, the players might start phoning it in down the stretch.
