The Pats should focus on their ground game.. Establish the run and use a good bit of play action in the pass game to give the rookie QB easier reads.
Same here, I really really want to watch it but I have an exam at 9am tomorrow Just hope I'll wake up to some good news which will instantly put me in a good mood.I really wish it wasn't on at 01:25, I think it'll be a great game but I'll have to resort to highlights tomorrow.
Yea I ain't watching highlights of that.
Gronk hardly played, spent most of the game with a heat pad on his hammy. Seemed like he was mainly there in case of emergencies.Typical Pats. Down to bare bones with injuries and they shut out a hot team.
Just get rested already Gronk; my FF season hinges upon you and a couple other high risk choices.
Yea I ain't watching highlights of that.
I wonder what the commissioner things of our start to the season
You should know this is as Scouse as it gets. Maybe more than RAWK.
Bloody Pats. Is this what it was like to support a team that wasn't United during the Fergie era?
Pats longest qb rush in something like 38 years. No idea how he wasn't absolutely creamed at 5-10 yards.
Man, he's been running for a minute now, how's he only got 3 yards?Looks so strange watching a QB who runs. Whenever Brady runs it's like he's going in slow motion. Although, he's the best in the business at the QB sneak.
Colin Kaepernick, the 49ers quarterback whose refusal to stand for the national anthem has rocked the NFL and ignited a fierce debate about patriotism, free speech and the American flag, says he has received death threats since he began his protest last month.
Kaepernick said on Tuesday that the threats have arrived “via a couple of different avenues”. He said he has not reported them to San Francisco 49erssecurity.
The 28-year-old acknowledged that the likelihood of such threats had increased since he began his protest at the end of last month. Kaepernick has been protesting against police brutality and racial oppression, and has not stood for the national anthem since the Packers-49ers pre-season game in late August.
“To me, if something like that were to happen, you’ve proved my point, and it will be loud and clear for everyone why it happened, and that would move this movement forward at greater speed than what it is even now,” Kaepernick said. “Granted, I don’t want that to happen, but that’s the realization of what could happen, and I knew there were other things that came along with this when I first stood up and spoke about it. That’s not something I haven’t thought about.”
Just watched the highlights right now. And wow. Just wow. I don't know what to say, really.
Have the Pats O-line and defence taken huge steps this year, or were the Texans just a massive scam earlier this season?
Are we really stacked at QB, or is it just the "philosophy" () working its magic once again? Gotta feel bad for Brissett and Garoppolo in a way, knowing that they're this good, but Brady probably won't retire for antoher two-three years. They'll learn from the best, for sure, but they've got to feel they can contribute massively if they get a chance to start for other teams. But then again, other backup QBs have looked good for the Pats, only to be utter sh!t or bang average elsewhere.
But really, really impressed by the secondary and defense. Really stepping up when the offense is not to reliable. They work as a unit more than any defense i've seen this year (bar the Broncos, but they also have the huge individual performances in def. Not really comparable.). Also, Malcolm Butler is now officially an elite CB. One of the best out there.
Is 14-2, or even 15-1 too much to hope for at this point?
I think fairly poor is a bit harsh, his short throws were tidy, and he had a couple of great runs, his long throws were wank though, I think he only hit one out of twelve, or some such. For the most part the tactics were planned to make it as easy on him as possible.Brissett was fairy poor really. They won in spite of him.
And Sod's law says the Browns are gonna destroy them in Brady's return

Defence were good, it was the kicking team that were the best, had the Texans pinned back all night besides the two fumbles.
Also, I found it interesting that Bennett and Edelman took a few handoffs and ran too.
Aye, that sounds about right. Can't complain though, seems he's a long term project, or just depth and he came in and done a job far sooner than expected.Agree on the punting. It was excellent.
Brissett just reminded me of when the Redskins simplified everything for RGIII. In my opinion that means you get a few short term gains but doesn't mean that you are anyway capable of running an offence.
And go 4-0Brissett has an injured thumb.... I expect one of him or Jimmy G to be fit for the next game but we might actually see Edelman start at QB
Written in the stars, and all that. And go 4-0
Before losing on Brady's return
