Perhaps. But then again in context I guess you also need to consider the quality of his o-line. Elliot is absolutely fantastic though and whether he will or won't be better then Bell is entirely a toss up I recon. One thing though is elliot has looked as tough as rocks all year. Bell is susceptible to injury at a position where injuries are not only deveststing but common.

He's also a few years younger than Bell. If EE puts up similar numbers next year then imo he will go on to have a very good career.

Yeah. I think he will have a very good career to be honest. But I also believe that conversations about who is better between Bell and Elliot could one day be so similar to Brady vs rodgers for example.

I love Bell and his style, but I sense Elliot is going to put up bigger numbers. He has exploded out of the gate and only Dickerson has run for more as a rookie.

That's future talk though, not present.

Bell for me but then again I am a Steelers fan. I wouldn't take any RB over him. He's a different level and different type of RB that completely transforms our offence. He's not a standard full charge runner. Not only can you argue he's the best at running the ball but he's ridiculously good at being a receiver too. Special player.

I probably wouldn't take anyone over him either. He's an incredible back. Elliot has a bit more longevity to him at a position where longevity is scarce, so if i was building a future team I would take him.

I'm buzzing for tomorrow, two amazing games on paper
Shame United aren't tomorrow, would be a mega day

I am fecking excited for both games. The Packers-Falcons should be great for passing fans. The Steelers-Pats game should be a bit more of a tactical chess match. Looking forward to watching Bell run.

Will be interesting how we try to stop the Steelers. The hooded one usually takes away the opponent's best threat but it's hard to say whether that's Bell or Brown/Ben. Will be a fascinating battle. One thing is for certain, the Pats offense will have to play a whole lot better than last week if we're to win.

Pats will stop the run and Butler will pick off Ben
I agree, they'll try and take away the rushing game, not easy against Bell as he is so patient for those holes and gaps
And then Brown will probably have a good day against Butler, but if they can stop the run, they might be able to get pressure on the QB to slow down Brown

First game will just be a shootout, the bet on Over 60pts is tempting

Bell will run for 200 yards.

As long as we stop them getting TDs and Brady does get TDs and throws for 450 I don't mind

I think it'll be a close game. Our offence needs to play better and our defence needs to make sure we don't give up big plays and we stiffen in the red zone.

Grigson fired and the players publicly happy about it. That's interesting.

God if the Patriots lose all of you who hate us so much are going to have a massive wankfest in here aren't you!

Probably and it'd be deserved too. Patriots are the Barcelona of American Football. All year long you have to listen to the pundits, media and fans dribbling and pulling their cocks out over them and Brady. It's probably why it feels so fecking good when they lose.

I rarely bet against my own teams but I still think you'll beat us tonight. Ben's been a bit inconsistent recently, needs to be at the top of his game for us to win this and I'm still not convinced the defence is quite there yet but would love to be proven wrong.

He was terrible.

He was and I still can't believe that he was resigned last year and here was rumors that he wasn't appreciated.

For me you described the Packers, more than the Patriots.

I like the Falcons bigly in this game. Guess I'll stick with the Steelers in the other since the Pats winning another SuperBowl would be so passé.

Patriots win tonight
Other game seems a complete coin flip

I do think though that Ryan or Rodgers will out shoot Brady if the SuperBowl becomes a shootout

Think the Pats will win if we manage to stop Bell. If they can establish the run & control the clock, it will be a difficult task for Brady.

I think the Falcons will win, but I'm backing Rodgers & Packers. They're on a great run, he's playing unbelievably well & when he gets hot it's very difficult to stop him. Should be a really fun game to watch with both offenses expected to dominate.

Not fussed who wins game one, I'm just excited to watch it.

As for second game, agree with @ha_rooney - boils down to if we can stop Bell. If we can I'd like to think we have a good chance.

Massive if though.

Well we're not allowed dream finals, so I'm going with the Pack to set up the dream final most want, then everyone expecting Brady to pull it through as the home favourite, but the Steelers and Big Time Ben to ruin everything.

Packers vs Steelers.

Only really like the Steelers of the four teams, but would definitely be up for the Brady vs Rodgers supershow, the best vs most talented seemingly at near his peak. Perfect.

I'm going for Packers and Steelers.

For 51, I think Patriots beat the Falcons but lose to the Packers. While Steelers beat the Packers but lose to the Falcons.

Having Alison, Adams and Nelson available is a huge boost. Biggest worry for Packers is the secondary, which has been the case for so long.
Second biggest worry is trying to work the clock if we take a lead cos we suck going conservative and end up giving up lots of yards going soft in defence.

If Jordy Nelson's fit enough to be WR1 today, I'm changing my pick to Atlanta.
Is it me or does this not make sense?

Steelers had a 3am fire alarm in their hotel last night.

I think the argument is that without him available the play is spread around a lot more which works better for the team.

Not sure I buy it, but they did seem to improve when he went off injured.

Packers are quoted at 3/1 at the moment, rather high because it's so had to call that game imo. It might come down to which secondary can stop (or contain, there is no stopping them) the opposing QB the most.

Only one hour to go!

Falcons - Patriots most likely, would love Packers - Steelers rematch.

I always get goosebumps when their national anthem is played before big sporting events. Must be great standing there as a player, gets you really pumped up I reckon.

I've high expectations that this game will be fun, fast & high scoring. Should make for great viewing.

I'm sure Kaepernick agrees with you :p

Apart from they all have to put their own spin on it. Should just be one tune
