What was the Seahawk defence thinking? He was basically jogging through them.

We gave up 3 80 yard touchdowns.

Season over for the Hawks.

Seahawks.

That is all.

If you told me 3 years ago that the Hawks and 49ers wouldn't make the playoffs this season I'd call you mad. With the Cardinals doing well and Panthers/Falcons feasting on a weak NFC South, chances of sneaking into a wildcard slot are slim.

Phew. hard fought victory for Packers. Rivers got 500+ yards but only 2 TDs. He really could have run it in to take it into OT as well. Packers need this bye week.

That special teams play by the Colts is probably one of the most stupid I've ever witnessed.

#74 must have 3 or 4 penalties by himself tonight. There's like four too many ex-Stanford players on this Colts team.

Absolutely incredible that the Broncos are 6-0 with an average running game and a below average QB. One of the writers on NFL website does a weekly quarterback ranking based on the season so far and he got a bit of stick last week for putting Manning on 20 but it's hard to argue without the history that he has been any better this season

Wtf was that fake punt?!

Another win. Nice work Pats

Starting to wonder if Pete Carroll has lost the teams confidence a little? Still time for them to turn it around but the margin of error has gotten pretty small.

I think it is more complacency than them not trusting Caroll to be honest. They are not as hungry as they used to be.

Yeah, I think that's the biggest reason for their average start this season, especially if you look at the way they lose games. They've got a positive points differential for the first three quarters throughout this season, and something like a -31 points differential in fourth quarters, amazing really for such an experienced team.

Nah, it's variance and the natural progression of nfl teams. They are built on star players on rookie deals making less than their market value which allows for more money to be spent elsewhere. Then as those stars have to be retained, they make substantially more money and depth is lost as choices are made and other players are sacrificed.

It's a joke of an offensive line, offensive coordinator and a decline in the secondary. Williams is terrible and Sherman is getting beaten. Wilson is hesitating a lot, Beast mode has no holes, we're missing a lot of tackles and can't buy a 4th quarter first down.

Apart from that, we're good.

They aren't playing that badly though, they have lost to some really good teams and even in those losses they have lost by one score. Still fancy them to get a wildcard slot and not sure anyone would fancy playing them in the playoffs

But if that is the case, how special are NE and GB then since they seem to be going strong for years on end now.

The Colts are a paper tiger and have been for a while. Ryan Grigson is bad at his job. Andrew Luck has the 119th highest cap hit in the NFL and the Colts have played in the easiest division in the NFL year after year and they have nothing to show for it. What's going to happen when Luck gets his massive extension and the rest of the AFC South turns it around?

Brady's been a lot more mobile this season, creating extra few seconds to make the pass. Impressive for someone who is hardly known for his mobility.

Also Jamie Collins is a beast.

Hit the nail on the head. Russell Wilson's big contract was a huge mistake. They could have had him play out his rookie contract, then franchise him. And franchise him again for 2017 if they wanted to.

Their 4th quarter collapses have been a mystery. Maybe Dan Quinn was more valuable than anyone thought.

Agree and I still don't like them for tanking their season when Peyton was injured to get Luck

Brady is only the 15th best paid QB last time I checked. He takes a massive discount.
Multiple times he's restructured his contract to help the team get stronger. Handy that his wife is even richer than he is.

Since the off-season before last he's been heavily training in mobility and speed on his own time. This is like the fastest he's ever been, and he's still slow as hell, but every extra moment means a lot, especially to a QB of his ability.

Yeah, depends on what you aim for in your career of course. Duncan did it as well and Spurs are still title contenders almost every year, while Bryant didn't take a paycut and look where the Lakers are right now... I find it very odd he chose for the money contract over the possibility of another ring, especially if you consider what an ultimate competitor he is.
