I hate how much attention the owners get. Imagine if all the players Premier League medals for the past 10 years had Glazer quotes on.

It's also a bit rich when Kraft refused to fight against the NFL's charges to defend the Patriots

I agree but considering Kraft turned the Patriots from a nothing, almost laughing-stock (about to move from New England) in to the most successful franchise of the last 20 years, I think he deserves the credit.

But what did he specifically do? He kept them in NE, granted, and built the stadium, but actually turning them into a successful franchise. That was Belichick. All Kraft has had to do is not go full Jerry Jones on draft days

I always hated the habit of owners being the first ones to get the trophy in American sports. Imagine Glazer or the Sheikh being the one to collect the PL title, fecking stupid.

Always bugged me too. At least with hockey they let the team captain take the Cup first. Maybe because with baseball and football there isn't a recognized, single leader or designated captain to hand the trophy to first. Because of this tradition too, NA sports also don't get to make as big a deal with the initial lifting of the trophy, which to me, with the EPL, the CL, or even the Stanley Cup, is one of the most exciting parts of the celebration.

Either way, it always bugged me too that the commissioner of the leagues are forced to make awkward speeches that no one wants to hear before the presentation. Happy that I won't have to hear Bud Selig mumble his way through a needlessly convoluted congratulations message that no one really cares about. Either an ego thing or a stupid tradition.

@Eboue What do you think about Stafford, are you happy with him?

How are those fixtures decided? Just seen the opening day fixtures across the board. No time wasted in getting the big games out there.

Nfl is the biggest cock tease of a sport, matches for about 3 days, off-season for 362.

THFC will be hosting 2 NFL games a year (10 year partnership) from 2018. Im wondering if this will take 2 of the games away from Wembley or whether they add another one (or two) by then? Wonder how this will affect those who buy Season tickets (like I did for Wembley this year)

It would be nice if they sent y'all decent teams, would make for a better spectacle.

It looks like the number of games are increasing. @adexkola
From what I remember, obviously teams dont want to give up home games. But for those who want to host the Superbowl, they have to be willing to do so.

iirc, theres only like 5-6 teams which havent come over (including Packers). Most games have been one sided, think theres only been 2 maybe 3 close games. With jaguars, its normally a domination

New deals for Dez Bryant with Dallas & D.Thomas with Denver.

Pats signed Gostowski to a long-term deal.

Also, Dan Connolly announced his retirement. Very good player for the Pats, goes out as a champion. But unfortunately, this is another leader lost on our defense.

Thanks for this  moment:

Edit: I think that might have been the game where Flynn had the big numbers. Done feck all since.
