I started supporting the Dolphins initially because my cousins were from Miami, but I soon turned to the Patriots because I loved their red uniform and Pat Patriot logo, and they had the word England in the name.

Brady's lawyers trying to claim the nickname "Deflater" was used because the guy was trying to lose weight

 and I thought the claims of a sting operation would be the most ridiculous thing about all this!

Amateurs. They should have said that he had erectile problems.

What are you looking for in a team

*Cleveland teams are disqualified by default.
- A bit of history - Texans (out)
- Ch'ips aren't exactly a priority but i need an era to brag about or a great team or something, not a useless franchise.
- A permanent team (not trying to support a franchise that gets relocated to Alabama or Oklahoma) - Raiders (out,i hate franchises without colour anyway)
- A good city.
- I already support United and The Heat, I'm not trying to support a villain in every sport, which is why i kind of shied away from the patriots 2 seasons ago(Brady is my favourite player), i was barely 3 years in and was already involved in major debates about spy gate and the tuck rule, i just want to be able to support a team that wouldn't get me killed someday.... at least once.
- Uniforms etc

Shortlist

Bears - 1
Giants - 1
Seahawks - 1
49ers - 2
Ravens - 2
Lions -2
Cardinals - wildcard

Note: I know its a long shortlist.

Black and yellow!

Ugly ass uniforms, wouldn't be caught dead in that...besides you want to be able to spell your QBs name without googling it, and also....rape accusations.

I blasted Green and Yellow by Lil Wayne so loud back in the day that i'd be a hypocrite to start cheering on big ben now.

"They call him big ben, but he weak though"

The Packers are a very natural fit for United fans.

Both storied teams with a loads of success through the years.
One of the oldest teams in the NFL - One of the oldest teams in English football.
Working class origins - Indian Packing company - Lancashire and Yorkshire railway.
Record 13 Championships - Record 20 League Championships.
Old Trafford - Lambeau Field.
Green and Gold.
Bart Starr, Paul Hornung, Jim Taylor - Sir Bobby Charlton, Georgie Best, Denis Law.
Don Hutson - Duncan Edwards.
Earl Lambeau & Vince Lombardi - Sir Matt Busby & Fergie.
Cold weather.
Brett Favre - Eric Cantona.
Bears - Liverpool.

etc.

Per you set of requirements.

Cleveland teams are disqualified by default - Not in Cleveland.
A bit of history - History galore.
Championships aren't exactly a priority but i need an era to brag about or a great team or something, not a useless franchise - Done.
A permanent team (not trying to support a franchise that gets relocated to Alabama or Oklahoma) - Never moving out of Wisconsin.
A good city - Err...
I already support United and The Heat, I'm not trying to support a villain in every sport - One of the most respected franchises around. Build through the draft, very little controversy, die-hard local fanbase.
Uniforms - Subjective opinion.

I appreciate your suggestions by the way.

Factions wouldn't be a bad idea on here tbh, members, mods and admins are allocated to various factions, you get to approach newbies and convince them to join, we get to compete against each other etc.

The bumblebee uniform

Brilliant QB though. You'd also be dead to me if you chose the Ravens, that's just sickening.

A snowy lambeau field is a beautiful sight :drool:, Green Bay hmmmm, and the sight of Olivia Munn would help with the losses.

Just don't choose the Patriots.

Or:

Tampa Bay
Raiders
49ers
Cleveland
Washington
Rams

Last season was my first full season of watching NFL and though I enjoyed watching as a neutral I think I will pick a team next season. I really enjoyed watching the Chip Kelly offense last season so might go for the Eagles.

The Eagles are a good choice if you can get past their awful fans.

Seahawks are the most fun on offense. You never know what the hell is happening. Never boring.

I suppose the most exciting teams to watch would be the ones that perfectly incorporate a running and passing game into their offence.
