I have it on mute because my girlfriend is up for work at 5:45, almost fell out of the bed there

What a crazy game. Why did AZ call all those timeouts on defense? Hate that move cos it allows the offense to get a play ready. They did it multiple times on GB's last drive ffs.

If the Packers somehow acquire Fitzgerald to pair with Rodgers, I'll move to Wisconsin and purchase season tickets. Unbelievable players.

If Rodgers finishes with only 1 superbowl ring, packers would have wasted his prime tbh.

Fecking hell, lost my bet by a half point. If it wasn't for that crazy hail mary or if the NFL makes teams kick a PAT on a game-ending TD similar to college.

I would have probably accepted that more if we didnt get the hail mary to take it into OT. awww damn :(

No slight on Rodgers as he's a great QB, but his contemporaries are some of the best QBs in the history of the NFL like Brady, Manning, and Brees. Could just be bad timing.

Now that I think about it, I'd blame McCarthy tbh.

Weve lost 6 playoffs under McCarthy I think and 4 of them have been on the last play of the game. (three in OT I believe).
I do think our play calling needs to be much better especially in redzone.

When rodgers freestyles with hurry up offence and him on the move, it works. Hes just that good.

He's been a better QB than all of them since he hit his prime. Packers need to invest more into that offensive line and get him another target.

OL is fine when its healthy, problem is keeping them healthy. I agree about the targets though, but not having Jordy, Quarless, Adams and then Cobb getting injured didnt help. Abby and Janis both looked decent for the future however, both stepped up big time (Hooded Jones was a bonus this season too).

Jordy Nelson going down in the preseason was a huge loss for them. Eddie Lacy doing his best Ando impersonation didn't help either. I do agree that Rodgers is currently the best QB in the NFL and has been for the past several seasons. However, he was far from his best for the majority of this season and only in the last couple games did he look like the Rodgers of old. And in the postseason, I'll take Brady and Belichick over Rodgers and McCarthy anytime.

I was surprised when he didn't make the 53 at the start of the season. He definitely has potential.

Both the O and D lines are functional but nothing spectacular. I blame the transfer strategy, which to too organic and long term. When you have the best QB in town in his prime you need to invest for right now. Corner, Safety, ILB/OLB were all positions that not properly staffed at beginning of season. Add in injuries and it gets worse. The Left tackle was a root cause for the whole season's demise imo. Unbalanced the whole O-Line and ruined the offence.

When Lacy was good he was about 235 lbs, now he looks 275 so yes he pulled an Ando for sure.

Any QB would buckle when he knows a big hit is coming. I wouldn't fault Rodgers for that. Brady benefits a ton from the Pats' smart management but what Rodgers can do in terms of manipulating the defense and keeping plays alive along with an accurate arm is something else. The way Rodgers saved the game today I don't think any other QB is capable of it, that's 2 hail marys in one drive and it didn't even surprise me too much.

Can see the Seattle-Carolina game going either way. My head says Panthers, my gut says Seahawks. Think it'll be a low-scoring, close affair. Good chance it comes down to the final drive like much of the postseason so far.

I also think Clay Matthews is highly overrated. Certainly not a good inside linebacker. Still not quite sure how he made the Pro Bowl. Must be the fans' voting portion of the selection process.
