AFC seedings:

1. Denver
2. Patriots

3. Houston
4. Baltimore
5. Colts
6. Bengals

I think this will end with a Denver-Pats championship game, if so it will be a toss up who wins. The way the Colts season has played out, they're my AFC dark horses.

NFC seedings:

1. Atlanta
2. 49ers

3. Packers
4. Washington/Dallas
5. Seahawks
6. Vikings

Now, if my maths is correct, I think it will be the Niners and Seattle in the NFC championship game with 49ers getting a close win. Seahawks are my dark horses for this conference, although Pete Carroll is a giant cnut and I would love it if RG3 rips his team apart in the wild card game.

Seahawks have to go to one of the hostile environments in the league and you really think they are going to win at Lambeau field?

Off the post!

Early nerves for both sides. Romo needs to bounce back from that pick on this drive, thisbis probably the biggest game of his career to date.

He absolutely sucks though. If anything he might get worse. Freaking hate Romo.

He really is a divisive QB, either loved or hated and nothing in between. Apparently he's close to 5000 passing yards for the season which is a good achievement.

I like him considering the OL isn't the best and his receivers can be very hit and miss (with the exception of Witten). That said, my lasting memory of Romo is the botched hold on the FG and he always chokes in big games.

As I write this, another interception

I think they are the best team in the NFC. You're right that the Packers at Lambeau is a tough draw. In the NFL, every playoff team is good so even a 1/6 matchup is only a 60/40 split for the favorite. The playoffs are designed to favor excitement (and flukes) over determining the true best team but ill place my bets on who I think is best.

how the feck did that happen? two seconds after the big 00!!!!!!!!!!!!

how hard can it be for a ref to see that there was a delay?????? are you fecking kidding me? do they get pay to do this shit?????

i'm livid

Morris has been a fantastic pick up and he really helps their option play.

TD Morris. Fantastic drive to respond straight back.

Why are people in the NFL so obsessed with records? It almost seems like every game there's some erroneous record being broken. Gets a little bit tedious.

American sports are much more quantifiable and we have become very statistic focused as we increase our understanding of the sports. Your football would likely be on the same path if it wasn't so free flowing and hard to break down into segments. That's not to say people aren't trying. Top level managers have access to all kinds of data that hasn't yet been made publicly available.

That said, the three big records this year (sacks, rushing, receiving) just happened to be threatened in the same year. Don't expect this every year.

NFL is all about numbers, yards, runs, passing accuracy, sacks, fumbles

i think is only natural to measure all of that and talk about records

HT. Good game so far. I think the Redskins will win but as Collinsworth noted, Dallas are a good second half team.

I understand that. But the sportscasters will go on about things like "most rushing yards in a two game streak" and you're like dude... shut up.

had an american girlfriend who studied at georgetown, so i went to visit her in january, the same year the redskins won the superbowl, so i was part of the celebrations and from them on, i was a redskins fan

Holy shit marcos, you dinosaur!

A lot of rookie records too. Astonishing!
