Congrats Newry Devil! Niners need Justin Smith back. Hope Minnesota do us a favor and beat Green Bay next week so we can get that 2 seed and the bye.

Over in the AFC if the Texans lose to the Colts next week that gives Denver and NE the byes. Brady vs Manning for the AFC?

Another TD, another big win, another impressive performance from Wilson. These Seahawks are looking very good at the right time of the season.

Vikings, Cowboys and the Bears have to lose and the Giants have to win for them to make the playoffs. Like that is going to happen!

Vikings are home to the Packers, Cowboys are away to the Redskins and the Bears are away to the Lions.

I'm going to accept that I don't understand the rules or know what a defenseless receiver is.

Excellent hits from Chung and Chancellor yesterday, on first glance.

Maybe I need to take another look.

We would love to :D Doing it is another thing though. Rodgers was on fire this week. Need AP to have a big game, the D needs to be as dominant as they were yesterday and Ponder to have another solid performance like yesterday as well to have a chance. Like our chances a lot better at the Dome though.

We simply must NOT turn the ball over. We are something like 9-0 when we win the turnover battle.

Final day of the regular season! This is the first full season I've followed, and it's been great. Best game so far has been the Seattle v Green Bay game which was decided by the 'Fail Mary' call by the replacement refs. Playoffs are coming up and here are my picks for teams to do well:

AFC: New England; Denver. Two amazing quarterbacks, but both have issues: New England have a weak secondary and no viable pass rush; Denver have an amazing record (10 win streak) but they've one of the softest schedules in the entire league. And every time they've met a decent team, they've lost (apart from Baltimore and Pittsburgh, but both teams haven't been very convincing this season at all). But they are most likely going to be fighting it out for a chance at the Superbowl.

NFC: Green Bay; San Francisco; Atlanta; Seattle - all of these teams are easily Superbowl quality so it should be great to see which one comes out as the top one. Green Bay have easily the best QB, and they've been there already so injuries permitting I'd back them to go to the Superbowl (and win it).

Anyone else do the expert picks on nfluk? Just wondering how everyone was getting on

Also anyone got any bets on tonight?

Come on Bears!

The Philly players gave up mid-season, time to move on for them without Reid or Vick. I wonder if Gruden would be interested in taking over?

Indy!

Unless I'm mistaken, if Houston lose and Pats win we then take the #1 seed. Gronk is also back

Colts win. Amazing season for them. Come on Pats!

Giants are out! Certainly didnt expect them to fail to make the post season earlier this year.

I hope the pats and denver win tonight and Peyton-Brady meet in the AFC Championship game.

Gronk's return is huge, hopefully he is fully fit unlike the Super Bowl last year.

edit: pats need to win and Denver lose for us to get #1 seed. If Denver wins they get home advantage all through the playoffs and, with their altitude that's a big advantage.

I'm watching the Seattle v St Louis game. Wilson's already been sacked after about 5 minutes, so this looks like it could be quite a game!

feck this is awesome. D playing lights out, ponder managing well and AP is getting his. Keep it up! Also, Blair Walsh is money!

I hope Ninkovic is not injured too badly. So far Pats doing their job. Denver will win so we'll have to settle for #2.

What a pass Ponder

Wtf is up with Akers? Another miss.

My word. The Seattle offensive line isn't even playing. Another sack. Great defence from St Louis.

Vikings leading, I think if they hold on for a win they go into the playoffs and Chicago go home.

Denver & Pats comfortably ahead, looks as if they'll be the #1 and #2 seeds.

feck. Three point game. If we go three and out now and the pack scores, I'm afraid we'll lose. Vikes cannot play the packers from behind!

Son of a bitch. Please stop them.

Edit: Robison strips the ball! Vikes recover. Good to have you back, Brian me boy!

TD Seattle. Russell Wilson equals Peyton Manning for the most TD passes in the rookie season at 26.

GB very lucky the review happened before the flag was thrown. End up with a TD.

What a shambles of a call. Sounds like the refs covering their ass. "Yeah he totally buzzed it before he threw the flag". Bullshit. No different from when Schwartz did the same thing.

And now that my Giants are out, I need a team to support in the playoffs. I can't decide between the Packers and the Patriots. Brady is my favorite QB but I love the offensive game of the Packers.

Agreed.

Wait I missed that play. What happened?

GB player fumbled the ball as he stretched for a TD. It was ruled a fumble and recovery by Vikings so is automatically reviewed but the GB coach threw the challenge flag. Under rules because he threw the flag, the play would nolonger be reviewable and the Vikings would have had the ball (same thing happened with Detroit earlier in season). But refs said the play was already being reviewed before flag thrown so could be reviewed and only penalty was a 15 yard penalty on kick-off as it was actually a TD. Very lucky and a shit excuse IMO.

Right now I'm feeling extremely pessimistic. Pack within 3 points, no Simpson, getting idiot penalties all over the field.

Please stop them. Please.
