Rodgers has hit his ceiling.

If you wanna go British, get Potter whose approach gives his team more chance to be on the front foot even against top teams. Ten Hag is the safer option and will be more welcomed by the fans, especially if they bring in VDS with him.

Leicester went on to win the FA Cup, which absolutely massive. The problem with Leicester winning the Premier League is now people will use it to undermine any success a manager has at Leicester. That was a one-off situation. Winning the FA Cup is enormous to a club like Leicester, and he has no doubt done a fantastic job with Leicester due to his own coaching skills.

He has overachieved with Leicester. It may be coming down, now, but there is only so long overachieving can be sustained. It will fail eventually.

Credit for recognizing that Suarez was great? Wow! That is an incredible low bar! Suarewas great for Ajax too btw, and just as good, if not better at Barcelona.

I also think it is debatable that he has done such a fantastic job at Leicester. Around 65 point should be expected from that squad. You say people use the title to undermine any success at Leicester. Feels more like peoples expectation was really low due to Shakespear and Puel.

It's also interesting given how many people say "he's a better manager now than he was at Liverpool" that he still hasn't figured out how to coach set-pieces.
 
I don't know how Rodgers can be considered. His form this season is patchy at best. Although knowing our incompetent board theyre probably hoping that it gets that bad for Leicester they sack him so they can get him for nothing. They'll probably give him a 6 year deal.
 
We will probably end paying Leicester money for Rodgers.

We need to end this Rodgers rumours, get something fresh in Potter and Ten Hag are what I would love to try but with our board and owners we will probably try something really uninspiring.

The story of this club really. We could have had Guardiola, we went for Moyes. We could have had Klopp, instead we stuck with LVG. We could have had Tuchel, instead we chose to stick with Ole. We could have had Conte, we again chose to stick with Ole. United should be studied in schools and universities as to how not to manage a business or a football club.

Yep. Fecking disgrace. No one is surprised about the success of all those managers. Us fans can see shit coming 10miles away and the people who are paid to run this club, couldn’t find a problem with a flashlight and a map that points to it.

Both. The second time when he left PSG and the board decided to stick with Ole after a good string of results. Then much similar to Spurs - Roman decided to act fast and swooped in, took hm and now we're in the mud, as always.
 
We'll obviously feck up the next appointment too. The fact that we weren't prepared for Ole not being good enough says it all.
 
I don’t know a single available option other than Zidane.

The only reason any manager would want to try and take over this shit show mid-season would be to manage Ronaldo.

Unless Zidane changes his mind or ten hag resigns mid season to join us. The only one I can think of is Ernesto valverde and he's a good option imo.

I’d take anyone now. That’s how bad it’s got. Rodgers would be a huge upgrade from a coaching perspective and I imagine the lure of this job would be impossible to refuse given the squad he’d obtain.
 
I think an interim is the only option, as I don’t see any big names leaving their clubs at this stage in season unless we throw them a lot of cash.
So, unless ZZ has a big change of heart, I think it will be an internal appointment. Dare I say Mata and Fletcher? If it’s Carrick then I don’t see the point.
Why not Blanc until end of season. Just to avoid relegation!

Needs a manager with experience in avoid relegations

It won't work. He loves Ajax, and wouldn't abandon them mid-season, regardless of money.
Come the season's end he may be tempted, but it's not really that simple.
 
Call Rangnick tonight. 8 month contract with an option for another 10 that can be activated any time between June and July 2022.

To be honest, I would have agreed with you but it's now looking like Ole will drag us into the bottom half and beyond at this rate. This is beyond crisis mode, this is all but terminated.

God knows what comes next, but it can't be Ole any longer. The Glazers will hate it - more due to them losing their fan-fave buffer - but that's how it is. Ole and the entire staff need to get the feck out.

I genuinely think a new coaching set up will probably do as much good as a change of manager. But we need a manager with at least a basic grasp of progressive tactics. Ole has none.
 
Got a bizarre feeling you'll approach Koeman if you're looking for experienced out of work manager to tick over until May.

Ten Hag is decent shout, would probably walk out on Ajax mid season for this type of job.

Anyone who saw De Gea interview will know the players have given up so your board can't sit on their hands any longer otherwise you're going out of CL aswell.
