How long do you need?
If we start after the next draft final finishes I should be fine. How long do you need?

An idea to break ties - the drafter with the lowest average pick time wins?
Thoughts anyone?

It's an interesting an idea, but one problem is that managers who leave picks with people are then pretty much at the mercy of how quickly the other person is able to post them. It all becomes a bit random in that regard. I'm still up for it though - it's better than penalties anyway.
True, but it would encourage PMs to be sent (possibly multiple ones) at least. That said if someone posts multiple picks for players the second etc will essentially have a zero pick time. We could though always note 1hr as the shortest possible pick time which would mitigate this issue
Two more things- 12 or 14 man squads? And should there be injuries? I'm thinking one outfield player from the 11 to be injured post game before reinforcements or will it be annoying as it's a snake draft?

With regards to the 'no mates' rule, does this include NT matches as well as club?
Thank you for explaining. So players can have been at the same club together for less than a season. How is that defined? If a player joined mid-season is there a set amount of games that constitues a full season?
Okay then I'm a little confused. You said...If two players had one senior club team appearance in the 71/72 season in different games, even as a sub, they will be counted as playing together.
The reason for such a strict definition is make research easier (no need to check all the games in the tournament etc) and less disputes over eligibility.

"Played together at club level' will be defined as sharing at least one season with another player at the same club"
So just to confirm, they can't have been at the same club together at all?
Thanks, that clears it up.Sorry wasn't clear enough.
