Just

Had a wand of a left peg and was just 2-3 steps ahead of just about everyone on the pitch with his one touch passing, one-twos and even his movement off the ball - always managing to find free space to make himself available for the pass. It's also no wonder how the wing duo of Skoglund and Hamrin had such great tournaments with the ammunition provided by Liedholm.

I was also sort of expecting an elderly stateman's performance defensively but it was an impressive defensive display and he covered plenty of ground, always covering runners, winning headers, intelligently positioning himself and of course making recoveries in the engine room. All the more impressive given that he was 36 years old  which must be donkey's years in that era in particular .

fantastic:drool:
Not sure how many games he has but i hope you will do few more. Last few days i was looking what to watch and couldnt decide on anything:o

edit: how the feck did your WC video survived on youtube?

If you file a complaint that it's a fair use they let your video be for a time while they make their final decision. They'll deny the complain eventually and block the video, just not in a few days. I have no idea why they block them tbh, I'm pretty sure that it is a fair use by the law book, but who knows.

other copyrighted materials can be used without permission in certain educational circumstances under copyright law or as a fair use. “Fair use” is the right to use portions of copyrighted materials without permission for purposes of education, commentary, or parody

Unfortunately he just has matches against Germany and Hungary (didn't play against Wales) from that WC. The Germany match quality is too poor and whilst the Hungary match's quality is decent, there's something wrong with that file and it doesn't contain the entire match.

Regarding the WC footage and copyrights it's completely random at times, I made a Littbarski comp from the 1982 final and it wasn't taken down but monetized by FIFA, but the ones that I made for Breitner and Scirea were taken down. Likewise, I didn't receive any copyright claims for Liedholm's performance against the Soviets in the quarter finals but received one for the Brazil match :wenger:.

And of course, it helps if the match that you are doing the comp on, is already on youtube as opposed to footballia or dailymotion.

Oh and watch the performance against Brazil in the final, where he scores and assists, if you haven't done so already.

An arguably better performance that the one against the Soviets. A simply lovely display and the phrase he 'plays the game at his own pace' couldn't be more apt. Always seemed to have an extra second on the ball despite the hectic and fierce nature of this match-up in particular, and nothing could have summed up his nonchalance and class more than his goal where he casually side steps 2 Brazil defenders as though they aren't even there, before slotting it in with his weaker foot. And just when you thought he couldn't possibly eclipse that moment of genius, he comes up with a peach of a pass which just slices through the Brazil defense delightfully (believe me I replayed the pass a fair few times ) for the 2nd Swedish goal. And those dribbles .

Tagging those who seemed to enjoy the first comp @Gio @harms @Theon @Edgar Allan Pillow @Annahnomoss

EDIT: They seemed to have blocked it, so appealing it now. So it should be up for some time, if they retake it down again, I'll get it uploaded on dailymotion

Because it shows him scoring and assisting — and that's usually what FIFA automatically checks. Since they don't have full games uploaded, a random midfield action won't trigger their copyright warning, but something that's on their official youtube channel will definitely be triggered.

There are exceptions — for example a compilation of Elkjær's game against Uruguay, where he scored 3 goals, is for some reason okay for youtube.

@harms Makes sense I guess, if I wasn't so lazy I might just try uploading one of those comps without the copyrighted segments and see what happens .

not sure though, i had Filipe Luis CL game removed within seconds and he was as far as you can from goal actions :D

There are more extended highlights on the recent games, obviously.

It's not a theory — I've tried to tackle this issue when I've created my first compilations, for example deleting all "highlight moments" (goals, assists, dangerous shots and free kicks) in Dzajic video worked quite well, apart from the fact that the video itself got significantly worse. You can also see (at least you could, haven't used this feature in a while), which parts of your video does FIFA/UEFA/whoever have issues with.

Luis probably made a few tackles that got into the highlight reel — or managed to got dribbled by someone which also usually goes to highlights.

anyone playing PL fantasy? We could do a draft there if there is any interest....

I've not done one yet, but did one last year and would be interested if we can get a few.

Just current league ?

its a fantasy game on their site but they added draft option, so yes its just the current league as you win points based on player "performances" :D

if you mean doing a draft for current players and then setting up inside the fantasy league so no one has duplicate players then I am in.
The fact everyone can be starting Harry Kane is what usually turns me off to those fantasy set up (unless its a one-day betting thing not full season).

they added draft option so we dont have to do nothing bar being online when the draft starts, only tricky part is arranging the start time of the draft so everyone can be online in the same time.

The standard one, £100m? Pick n leave.

Yeah, I'd play that (less nous needed).

no budjets in the game but if there is more then 4 players playing you dont go over 100M, in my league we usually play without changing anything as nobody cant be bothered to make changes every week but its optional.

Oh cool, then yes I am in. I'll just adjust to whatever time works for everyone else, even if I have to set my alarm. I'll wake up middle of the night have a drink :D

max teams is 16 but reckon we shouldnt go over 10 or 12 because the teams would be crap and the first 3, 4 drafters will just walk the league.

How about a draft where everyone gets to be at the top of the table and bottom of the table.

We start drafting both from the top and bottom.
Only European and Asian players allowed in one snake.
Only American and African players allowed in the other snake.
