That’s a decent idea but vested by self-interest. It’s always useful to have a draft overlord because inevitably there are some grey areas with the more interesting criteria.

Go with that and I'll play grey area overlord (inc. that key grey area: sheep assignments). Don't have time for modding/playing but can settle those no probs.

The issue I see @Moby is that with 16 managers you would have 15 rounds. Some of the best sheep rounds are those involving two players and getting stuck in a certain game.

1) Where's the incentive to propose a two player round you are not in?
2) Managers would wind up with different number of players
3) If some of the rounds have two players squads would be massive (18-20 players)
4) Sheep would be irrelevant as you would be fine so long as you don't get 8-10 of them.

I like the notion of collaborative self-modding but I would be wary of the issues above.

Im sorry guys something has come up which means i wont really be available to log on much as im driving most days long distances between tuesday and saturday

The draft hasn't started yet, I think you have a week at the very least.
 
Only problem with the self modding is people would try and limit to a poor selection of players to hinder everyone else.

Hey guys can I get in on the draft action as well ? We just finished our noob draft and would love to play it in the mains. If its full then I can assist someone or even help run the game.
 
so many new faces, we should do a sheep draft with 32 players:drool:

A suggestion

Let's have 18 or 20 managers. Then, a poll to choose the 4 worst teams before the start of the games
 
Nah. It's a shame to pick a team and not get a chance of presenting it.

Thanks Harms, I will give this one a miss unfortunately, I prefer a simpler kind of draft with players to play under a certain manager etc, thanks for asking though
 
We could do 24 teams and split into 8 groups of 3. Group winners move to quarter finals.
