Next 7 league fixtures - acceptable points total?

What'll be interesting to see is whether or not we get shut out for the fourth league match in a row.
 
He has to compact the midfield and play defensive minded midfielders. Ugarte, casmiro..mainoo and bruno or one of the youg players for casamrio.
As the game progess he can make subsittiions for amad,Garnacho or rashford for example. Dalot and Mazrawi should be able to handle the wing players.Tryng Rashford as striker is also another option.

I’d go with rashford up top. Liverpool will leave space behind their defence and he makes better runs than our other ST.

I’ve only once turned off a United game mid match and that was 7-0. I switched it off 10 mins into the second half thinking they’ll just sit back and the game will just filter away out.
Honestly think the tv could be off by half time this Sunday.

Theyre all must win games, battles for survival in fact, and I fear the worst.

I'm still of the opinion that there's no way you will be dragged into the relegation dogfight, however, two hamerings at Anfield and the Emirates (Which on current form is certainly possible), and Ipswich or one of the other bottom three clubs get a win this weekend, Old Trafford will be very edgy for the Southampton game, and a slow start, or worse, an early Saints goal, and it could get very toxic.
Maybe a new signing before then can freshen things up, even on loan for the rest of the season.

I can only see us getting maybe 10 points from that run of games. That would leave us on 32 points with 10 games to go. Would probably take that right now. Grim.

I told everyone we were going to take the full 9 points from Bournemouth, Wolves and Newcastle.

Didn't even manage to score a goal ffs.

Spurs away is a nailed on defeat. Otherwise I agree.

If we lose at home to Southampton then I'm putting money on us getting relegated because they're the worst PL team in a very long time. Honestly if they inflict a 6th consecutive defeat on us then we're done. Won't happen though.

Imagine saying not only would we get just 3 points, but they’d come from a win at the Eithad. You’d have got mad odds on that when this thread opened.

The next 7 games we need to pick up points. Everton, Ipswich, Saints and Palace are must win games. Brighton, Fulham and Spurs might be a bit more tricky, but we can win or take a draw from them as well. None are in great form.

We are not stable of course, but if we have a good run of form now, we can start breathing a bit.

Brighton - 0, they regularly do us these days. Home and away.
Fulham - 1
Palace - 1

9 from 21, leaving us on 32 points with 11 games to go.

Palace and Everton should be wins but this team is so flaky.

And I don’t think any Utd fan in the world would have predicted that the 4 points we do get from these fixtures would be from Anfield and Etihad!
