New Club World Cup format

It's going to be amazing when arsenal or Liverpool or Barca or Bayer Leverkusen win the cl next year and don't get to go to this

Why is that? Italy won the Euros and didn’t qualify for the WC… Europe sent Wales among other.

I support the idea but only if pre-season games take place immediately after in United States with big clubs facing each other once again.

Because the 2025 world club cup is obstensibly to find the best team in the world right?

But the 2025 CL winner don't get a ticket. At least not until 2029!

There will have been 4 CL winners since CL lifted the cup. 90% of that Chelsea team don't play for them anymore.

It wouldn't be unrealistic to have champions league semi finals of Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal

So Europe's best teams at the time might not even be going.

Club football is an annual thing. A club world cup every 4 years is stupid

There is no point doing a club with cup as it's obvious Europe is the best and almost always wins.

By this logic Champions League is also stupid because league champions of that particular year don't necessarily get to play in it either.

Leverkusen couldn't play in the CL this year. That means it's "stupid".

But Leverkusen will play in next years CL.

The May 2025 CL winner won't take part in the June 2025 CWC
