EA is coming out with another Need For Speed game this November. I m really looking forward to this game. The trailer for this game came out last week and it looks stunning. It looks so much better than the old NFS Hot Pursuit game. The trailer features some hyper cars and the soundtrack is pretty good as well. It looks like a trailer for a cool action movie.

NFS 3 Hot Persuit was a great game a decade ago :D

Hope this can live up and have a similar impact because the NFS series is really going down right now.

Games like Blur are vastly superior

A tweet direct from Criterion’s official Twitter account states:

Over 100 miles of open road. Ten and a half square miles. Four times larger than Paradise City.

Also confirmed for the title is:

Porsche 918 Spyder. Unveiled Geneva March 2010. Playable in NFSHP 3 days later. A hybrid supercar that does 200mph,

3D support on PlayStation 3 and PC

Need for Speed v Gran Turismo 5, I know which one I'll be going for. And it's not the one professing my need for an illegal substance.

Well name a better arcade street racer then? Midnight Club 2 runs it close to be fair, but Paradise pips it.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles is the daddy, but agreed Paradise does run it close. Some of the Burnout's are very good as well tbf. Racers are just so much better than football games.

Does anybody know what music they use in the end when the Lambo comes through and performs the pit manoeuvre?

Words can't describe how up for this I am because

a. Hot Pursuit was my favourite in the NFS series

b. It's being developed by Criterion Games, who made Burnout Paradise (possibly the best arcade street racer ever).
Considering buying it. Should I?

Dunno man..

A quick scan through the youtube comments.... and this looks like it.

30 Seconds To Mars - Edge of the Earth

Heck..had no idea they would have a Bugatti Veyron in it?!

Oh come on mate. Bugatti Veyron has been in a lot of racing games for a few years now. I played NFS Undercover and that game came out in 2008 and that game still had a Bugatti Veyron.

It's in NFS: Shift aswell.

I'll be more impressed if its the Veyron SS.

I have never played a NFS game before. Just looking at those videos, it looks impressive, but extremely limited. You chase a car down, and run it off the road. Or you are the one being chased. Is that it?

So you chase a ball around a field and try to kick it into the net, if you don't have the ball you try to stop the other team kicking it into the net? Is that it?

I hope this explains it for you. :)

Had one of the hot pursuit games on the playstation when Gran turismo was out and it was awful. Great concept in theory as you could chase with police or by them etc and it had more real world maps than all the later Need for speeds which are more max power or fast and the furious style crap. The also had all the top super cars only like Lambo's and Ferraris or McClarens but they didn't feel like cars moving on a road, it was like someones drawing off a car being cut out and pushed down a fake road lol. None of them got the best ratings from what I remember before changing style.

Only ever decent one was the original Need for speed on the 3DO. Will check it out though, EA might have learned from that.

Well, as you didn't answer my question, no, it doesn't.
