NCAA College Football 2018/2019

Wow what an idiot
Yep. I mean... the entire state of Arkansas might produce 10 kids per year who could play at a Power 5 school, they desperately need to be able to land kids from Texas who got passed up by the bigger schools so they don’t end up at Houston, Baylor, etc.

Pretty much every high school in Texas runs the spread now.

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

I've always found it odd seeing grown adults salivating over a 17-year old "hot prospect" or "five-star recruit" signing for a college he/she supports (and likely never attended).

I remember seeing FB posts a few years back from former HS classmates of mine all wanking themselves silly over Kyler Murray's commitment to A&M.

I saw that a lot when I lived in SEC country... "crootin" they called it. Was a bit creepy
Y’all ever visited the transfer forum?

They should have gone for Malzahn when they had the chance

Nothing in all my years of following CFB recruiting approaches the creepiness of the transfer forum.
Truth.
Yes but the players tend to not be 17 year old boys
Ever visited the Youth forum, then?

Yes, yes they should have. Give Chad Morris time though, and once he’s cycled out these Bielema players from the program, he can do good things for them.

Some good games today. Can't decide whether to watch Alabama this afternoon and listen to my wife gloat about what a great team they are or watch my Vols take another mullering from Florida this evening and listen to my wife gloat about what a bad team Tennessee is. Decisions! Decisions!

You know it's going to be both.

I'm setting up 2 tv's in the living room for UGA/Mizzou and Notre Dame/Wake Forest.

Looking forward to seeing my Tigers take on Georgia Tech this afternoon!

Watching Georgia Mizzou right now. Have no association with any of the college teams so going to find a stream for whichever game is close

VT really screwed the pooch there.

Upset brewing in Texas at the moment. TCU went from winning 16-10 to losing 16-24 in about 3 minutes.

Edit: Texas have now put up 21 unanswered points. Up 31-16 with under 5 mins left to play.

Going as well as expected I see.

Vols HC Pruitt kicked a player out of the team after he wouldnt enter the game v Florida
Yeah, it wasn't a good look. Rumors of all sorts of discipline problems within the program going back to "Botch" Jones. Those Dawgs better be worrying about a Vol backlash next week though. :nervous:

Nah UT will be lucky to get a win in the east. Vandy and KY look even too good. Mizzou the only chance. Jones, Dooley, Kiffin and the Admin tried to destroy that program. It will take Pruitt a good 3 years before he can compete for the SEC.

Do not take my hope away from me. That Vol backlash is coming. Even if it's only in my head.

Herman must have done something to change how Texas played after that embarrassing opening day loss. Defense has played much better and the QB position is performing decent. Keep an eye on that receiver with the dumb name, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, one to watch going forward.
