NCAA College Football 2018/2019

Hopefully ND loses and we have to have an OU/tOSU debate heading into the playoff.

ND not losing the other week was aggravating...

That can go either way... It's never cool to have a loss to an unranked team on your resume, so if you guys win out and they take you over us I won't be too mad.

Now if they sneak in a 2 loss SEC team into the playoffs over either a 1 loss OU/OSU I will blow a fuse.

Texas pulling their typical high ranked choke job.

And whatever this crap Ok State just did on that fourth down formation was as illegal as feck and yet Texas get flagged. The fecking lineman on OSU moved and all the backfield persons moving forward. Shit officiating.

I didn’t catch the end of OSU v Texas. So glad Texas lost. Good example of a team overrated because of the name.

Can you find a clip of it?

--The closing sequence of the first half was a head-scratcher. On fourth-and-1 from midfield, OSU’s guards shifted their body weight and feet on a fake punt rearrangement that drew Ta’Quon Graham offside. It looked like a clear false start. Officials awarded OSU a first down.--

--On fourth-and-one late in the second quarter, Oklahoma State lined up for a punt and then moved to the line of scrimmage en masse with some apparent movement up front.--

OSU had 2-3 guys in the backfield move up towards the LOS and both OGs moved laterally, all simulating a play snap. It drew a reaction from a UT DL'man who moved towards to LOS and touched an OG. He was called for an infraction but even the analysts on TV were like "hold up, the OG moved laterally and cannot at that point", something like that. The analysts also were not sure how the backfield can move up simultaneously which simulates a play snap.

Struggling to find a clip of the play. The highlights clips I've found do a great job of not showing that particular play which kept an OSU drive alive late in the 2nd that ultimately resulted in another OSU score and practically putting the game out of reach. If the right call is made forcing OSU to punt, at minimum it's a 24-14 game going into the half, assuming Texas does not score on it's possession with like 1:30 left, or doesn't turn it over to give OSU another crack before half. That call ultimately became a huge factor seeing as those gifted seven points and the three point final margin (who knows how OSU plays out their fourth quarter offensive series if trailing).

But Texas' defense is to blame for the loss in all reality. A defense can't surrender multiple 60+ yard drives and 31 points in a half and hope to win a game. They did better in the second half it appears (I flipped over to watch 'It' on HBO) but the damage was already done.

Wanna bet on it?

We don't really know how good Bama is this year since they have only played one currently ranked opponent (A&M at #25). They are playing #4 LSU this weekend which should give us some degree of indication of how beatable they are.
